I was wondering if any of you have found a new series of books similar to Harry Potter? I heard about Percy Jackson but I'm not so sure if those books will satisfy me...

Hope you find it good....
Also, another series His Dark Materials
And another one called The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset
Also, The Millennium Trilogy
there's the James Potter series =) I haven't actually read it yet but it's based off of Harry's father.
I haven't read the series either. It's actually fanfic by G. Norman Lippert, and it's based on Harry's son.
The Hunger Games series is AMAZING! I enjoyed it ALMOST more than HP.Same goes for The Millenium Trilogy. Extraordinarily well-written!
Definitely check those out! :)
Also, The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini is AWESOME! It is definitely one of my favorite series'. And the fourth and final book comes out in November :)
I agree about the Millennium Trilogy - I enjoyed it very much, but I wouldn't really say that it's similar to HP.
I second Shabbeer's first two recommendations. The Bartimaeus Trilogy and His Dark Materials are amazing, in my opinion. They're right behind HP on my list of favorite books, and the Bartimaeus Trilogy, especially, starts out with many of the same elements that HP does (but it’s not a rip-off like the first PJO).

Yeah I enjoyed The Millenium Trilogy but it's not really like HP at all. Just a really good mystery/suspense fiction.
You could always read LOTR-- it's pretty classic. I read Percy Jackson, and it was okay... it was a little young for me, but it was very entertaining.
Percy Jackson is an amazing book series, definetly HP-like. The bartimeaus trilogy was also amazing, although I personally don't think its like Harry Potter. The James Potter series is set in the world of HP, with the characters and stuff being the same, so its like any other fanfic out there basically.
