angela (ladyday) | 228 comments Greetings BWOBs!!!!
I'm 40 years young
Currently reside near Orlando, FL by choice (originally from San Francisco, CA)
Mother of a 15yr old son by mercy
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I enjoy:
Running,Picnics,Cooking,Sleeping In(which I rarely have the luxury of doing),skating,horseback riding,softball,basketball,swimming,vintage jazz,cruising the Carribean,hearing my son play his Acoustic guitar and of course reading.

In an effort to stay in-tune with what my son reads, I've been reading quite a bit of YA fiction as of late...and to my delight, it ain't like Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys..lol!I generally like all genres: Mystery,sci-fi,suspense,thriller,historical,christian fiction,chick-lit,romantic fiction & the classics.Typically I have 2-3 books going at once which makes it easy to switch up when and if the tempo of the other begins to wane.

I'm so looking forward to getting onboard and being an active member of Books Without Borders.

~Ciao for now,
Lady Day

Hi Lady Day! Welcome to the group!!!

I like to read YA fiction sometimes too...and my daughter is only 4! Hahaha! The Harry Potter series is one of my favorites of all time. And I just started reading The Lightning Thief which is the first in the Percy Jackson series.

I can't do that whole "several books at a time" thing. I can only read one book at a time. But I admire those who can focus on several different books at once!

Anyway. It's great to "meet" you and I can't wait to discuss books with you!

Happy Reading!!

Maranda
