Thank you so much for inviting me to this discussion group. I think your such a talented writer and I'm looking forward to reading more of your literary works in the future!
About me: I'm an avid reader with a passion for African-American literature and contemporary African literature. I also love to journal and travel. I'm hoping to develop a book blog in the future.
Happy reading!
Hi Babydoll,
Thank you for joining in. Looks like we're going to be a small, but intimate group. All the better!

Evangeline, Adrienna, John, Rick, Lukas, Bruce, and Hira, thank you for joining in. Please feel free to tell everyone a bit about yourselves and/or to start a topic thread.

Hi. I'm John and I live way the frig up in Maine and I'm sorry I haven't read your book like I wanted for this discussion. I'm sending for one and it hasn't arrived! I guess I'd first be interested in what keeps you going when the going gets tough (writing-wise). Do you have an established writing buddy or cheerleader section to help you not loose hope and/or your way and/or self confidence with a work?
BTW I know I'm gonna love your books. I can just tell.
Thanks!
Hi John! Maine, huh? It's beautiful up there, but a bit chilly sometimes. Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate it. And yes, I do hope you love BLACK ORCHID BLUES. (Though I must say, it isn't for the faint of heart.)
What do I do when the going gets tough? That's a great question, so great in fact that I'm going to start another thread on it!

Another question. I am deliberately NOT reading your character analysis posts of Lanie Price until after I've read your book(s) because I don't want that inside info just yet, however, I would be interested to know your process or strategy (tips and tricks?) of developing important secondary characters, and especially those most difficult but necessary for you to get inside of. Thanks! :)

I'm Adrienna Turner, award-winning author of "The Day Begins with Christ" and authored several books and latest book will be "God is in the Equation".
