hahaha loli've only read the first dark swan book but it's amazing :)
it was one of the first adult series i read. after the first sookie book i think
i want to read the graphic novel. i've never read one b4 but i love the book so y not start with that :)
I have read all of the Georgina Kincaid books and can't wait for the last one to come out...I'm kinda bummed that it's the last in the series, but I do love it!I have the Dark Swan series on my list of books to read too! :)
Cupcake Cassie wrote: "I only found out a couple of weeks ago that it is the last!"I think I stalk her page lol....to see when her books are coming out! lol...that's the only reason I know. :(
Okay, I'm months behind you ladies in commenting, but I just finished book 2 and I believe I may be officially hooked on this series. I even think I may be somewhat doe-eyed over Seth. *Sigh*
I just finished Succubus Dreams and I feel like crying. I've never been so depressed over a book ending before. All of my illusions are shattered. I didn't want it to end that way. I'm so upset, I couldn't even write a review. Somebody please tell me it'll all be made better if I read on to the next book? Please?
Huh? That's not what I want to hear. :o(I want you to tell me that Seth stops acting like an arse and Maddie gets run over by a bus, and everything goes back to being as romantic as it was in book 2. :o(
I believed you until you laughed. Now I don't know if you're stringing me along. Should I go ask my doc for pre-anticipated prozac prior to reading?
*stamps feet* I hate when books don't go my way. *shakes fist* I hate when I'm not left feeling all mushy by the ending. *stropping off now to find something less depressing to read*
LOL, you make me laugh, I don't want to spoil anything for you, so my lips are sealed, it's for your own good!
But I understand where you are coming from, I'm regularly moaning to the BF about crud endings :)

Gargh! Okay, okay. I just opened up Night Huntress 1 instead. But I'm still mad. I wanted to give it a 1* rating out of spite for the author not thinking of her poor readers. But I rose above it and gave it the 4 it deserved.
LMAO
I think we have a Night Huntress thread, so also feel free to natter about it there, I've only read 1 - 3 :(

I shall go find the thread when I've read some of it then and wow you all with my opinion of that one, too. *snort*
:( I felt JUST like you do/did after this one!! and in all honesty, I haven't picked up the final one/two?? books because of my 'upset'I suppose it's time to grit my teeth and finish the series - they're on my tbr list and sitting there in my bookcase:)
Dammit!
Um ... you need to go finish them. (like how I send you into the lion's den first?).I'm not a violent woman by nature. But I have somewhat fantasised about Maddie having an unfortunate accident and perhaps landing on a pencil, or something .... I am actually still very angry and you've just caught me having a rant about the book to a writer friend through yahoo, lol. Yes, I have still not let this go. I'm 8% through the night huntress story and have spent the entire read so far obsessing about how mad I am with Seth and Maddie. I'm angry. Very angry. With them both. Especially with Seth. Can you tell?
Since you've been so brave with what I've 'pushed' you into, I suppose it's time for me to bite the bullet and avoid the lion's denOK - now they've been brought up to next in line :)
I'm on Halfway to the Grave at the moment, Carole-Ann, taking a break, but my head has constantly been on how mad at Seth the entire read so I think I'm going to have to go back to it after I'm through with this one just so I can find out one way or the other.
OK, I've been procrastinating....and, yes, I'd like to know how Seth sorts things out .Might get there before you
Possibly. I'm full of flu and still (stupidly) trying to conquer NaNo. Though I did finish another project this afternoon (a Jem & Sean novella), so I'd be happy even if I didn't manage to hit my word count for the month now. :o)

Congrats on finishing the novella! *hugs* and *kisses* all round (NB - I've had my 'flu jab, so I should be OK )
It wouldn't even occur to me to get a flu jab. I blame it on my daughter. She came home this week with a tonne of bugs and shared them all with us. Thanks for the hugs and kisses. :o)
Gargh! So I finished up with Night Huntress and tortuously opened up Succubus Heat.
Gargh!
I'm only 5% and already sad. :o(
I'll have to if only to discover how things are going to end up between them. I've been reading a little bit more lately because I've been too ill to write. Though I should still be writing for NaNo, I'm not so fussed now I've completed my 2 main projects. If I pick back up again from this flu, I'll try and catch up but it's not the end of the world if I don't. :o)But Seth. *sniffle* I feel like taking him by the shoulders and giving him a good shaking. And not in a good way.
So ... I finished Succubus Heat.*Sigh*
Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Is anyone else somewhat irked by Maddie's presence?
I'm nowhere near as mad as I was at the end of Succubus Dreams, though. I've already opened up book 5. That ending has left me eager to find out how much more (view spoiler)
Carole-Ann, read on. This book's safe to. ;o)
I finished book 5 last night. I was too blindsided by my irritation at the end of book 3 to pay much attention to what was truly going on just below the surface. For goodness sake, enough hints are pretty much dotted throughout the entire series. However, it took me until book 4 to wonder and to book 5 to grow truly suspicious of what it's all been leading up to and then to have my suspicions confirmed at the end of book 5. I have a lot of questions I now want answers to. I really hope I'm going to get them in the finale.Read on, Carole-Ann, if you haven't already. I'm *almost* at the point of forgiving the author. :o)
