Beyond Boundaries discussion

Beyond Boundaries isn't available on Amazon.com as a Kindle ebook for customers located in Latin American and the Caribbean. Amazon claims this is due do "copyright restrictions", but it doesn't explain which restrictions. Given that copyright law differs from country to country, it's hard to imagine it is the governments in LA/Caribbean who are creating obstacles for the selling of this ebook in this area. Reasons less than legitimate come to my mind as the real motivation for such restrictions: Amazon and/or the publishers are aiming these new markets and are planning to sell this and other books already blocked for download in these areas, for a steeper price than sold in Amazon.com. So much for the practicality of buying Kindle and being, by all means, able to download a book and PAYING for it. And people ask why there's so much piracy in the so-called "developing world"...
