Trading is when both the giver and the receiver get something from the other; gifting is when only the receiver gets something.

Remember also that only eggs and unnamed, unfrozen hatchlings can be traded. Zombies cannot be traded either as they are autofrozen upon creation and GoNs (guardians of nature/summoned) also cannot be traded due to them not being abandonable, period.

.:Places to go to trade/gift:.
IMO it's best to have a place where you can talk in real time with the person you're trading/gifting with.

The DC IRC is arguably one of the best places to go for trading and gifting.
irc.technoized.com - enter a nickname and dc or dctrades into the channel# box. Once in one of these channels just type /j #channelname (where channelname is the desired channel).
http://mibbit.com/chat/?channel=%23dc... (alternate link if you can't get in through the other) enter a nickname; channel is preset to #dc. Once in dc, you can type /j #dctrades to join the trading channel.

To use the IRC just type in what you have to say and press enter. The IRC also has a PM function for members: on the online/idling list, find the person you want to PM. Click their name and a "PM" option should be there. Click it. A private window will open next to the channel tabs with the name of the person you're PMing. Only you and the person you're PMing can see this.

Another real time chat type thing is YIM for those people who have yahoo mail.

You can also set a "drop time" for the eggs/hatchies being traded/gifted. To do this PM the person youre giving stuff to and say you will drop the item at xx:xx, where the second xx is the time you will drop it (ie, xx:42 means 42 after the hour).

I do not like emailed requests. I have a tendency to not see PMs from here, as a notification does not get emailed to me, so PMs here are not the best way to find me.
Eggs you are willing to breed:
I can breed pretty much any common; I should have at least one CB of everything (balloon is an exception). I do not accept requests for blacks right now.
I will breed rares but keep in mind they are not breeding well right now, and many of them won't even give me common eggs anymore. If you request a rare, or a common egg from a rare, be prepared for a wait. :x Not accepting requests for tinsel eggs, but I will be happy to give you commons from them.
I can do special lineages (i.e., even gen, purebred, staircase, non-inbred, etc.) for most things. o3o You'll have to look at my scroll and pick a pair for this kind of request.

Notes: Please note that as a collector, I am always looking for rare eggs and therefore do not have many of each breed of dragon.
