Hi everyone. While I was working on my latest "story" I started thinking about some of the music I listen to that help inspire me. I don't know if anyone else does this, but on the start of a new story, I always make a new playlist to get me in the creative mood when I'm stuck. Here is the first ten songs on the list for my latest project?
What songs are on your creative playlist?

1: She - Zoegirl
2: Pain - Three Days Grace
3: On My Own - Three Days Grace
4: Save You - Kelly Clarkson
5: Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
6: Rolling in the Deep - Adele
7: Long way - Daughtry
8: I Hate Everything About You - Three Days Grace
9: The Day we Fell apart - Kelly Clarkson
10: Which to bury, us or the hatchet - Reliant K

Hi guys, I thought i'd post our new write off here in this forum. There's not set deadline, just try and get your stories in by next weekend please. I hope a lot for you participate in this write off (I'm personally excited. We haven't had one in a while :) Hope you all enjoy!

Writing Prompt:
Dial a Dialogue

You are an actress who makes her living doing commercials. You are also the owner of a duplex, a home with two units. You live on the bottom floor and rent out the top floor to an undercover policeman. There's a little tension (Actually a big disagreement between the two of you. Play it out through a dialogue on the phone. Write this scene.

I'll start working on it right away, but is the disagreement between the actress and the owner or the owner and the policeman?

THe actress/actor is the owner, you're supposed to 'role' play and pretend that you're the actress/owner dealing with a disgruntled tenant - the undercover cop. Hope this clears it up:)

Cheylyne Wassenaar (memoryhunter) | 79 comments And so Encore's stories always sound like this:

Once upon a time
Mary, Mary, quite contrary
Had a little lamb
And the itsy bitsy spider crawled up the water spout
While the wheels of the bus went round and round
On old McDonald’s farm
Where Jack and Jill fell down a hill
And little Bo-Peep lost all her sheep
Beneath a twinkling star
The end

Okay, sorry guys about our last write off. It was a fail. I've been so busy lately (and working on a new story) that I never got around to it. If you guys want to do another write off soon, please feel free to send me some suggestions. If not, we can just continue to contribute ideas and short stories we have written (poems and others) to the discussion forums.

Cheylyne Wassenaar (memoryhunter) | 79 comments Ha ha, glad you enjoyed that short story. And I could totally see Encore writing something like that too. It is certainly his style of writing. Lol!
