Amanda was laying down on her bed in a dark, windowless room. her eyes were wide open, but it wouldn't have mattered, even if there was a light on in the room.
Despite her lack of sight, however, Amanda could tell that the sun was just about to disappear behind the horizon, freeing her from her lonely over familiar prison-like room. She waited a few moments longer and then carefully pressed her fingers on the dresser next to her bed. her hands bumped into and grabbed a pair of strange orange sunglasses. She slid them on and sat up. The pathway across her room was clear in her mind and once she was standing, she stepped down the familiar pathway through her room and grasped the smooth doorhandel.
She wait a few moments longer and then popped the door open. She was not surprised to feel the fresh air or the night brush against her pale cheeks and she smirked when she realized her timing was perfect.

Sanguis was in the woods. Not hunting, not yet....he wasnt hungry yet. He was looking for one of his "friends". He heard rusling in the bushes behind him, so he turned and stared hoping to make eye contact.

Amanda cautiously stepped down the stairs, counting them out in her mind.
...15...16...bottom...she finished. she tried to imagine her surroundings. The cold alley way four paces and 45 degrees to her left. the struggling bakery shop 41/2 paces in front of her. finally, the open mouth that led to main street about 12 paces to her right. she sighed and turned right, counting her steps.
Numbers, she thought bitterly. the only reliable things in my life.

Gale shivered, pulling his overcoat tightly around him. He felt vulnerable in the night, with the new moon in the sky he had little light to guide him in the city alleyways. I don't even have a clove of garlic with me, he sighed. Inwardly kicking and berating himself for being so careless.

Medium was walking on an old cottage rooftop looking for his next prey. He noticed gale. Him and gale had had close encounters before, more than close encounters in fact. Him and gale had nearly killed eachother in a ravenous fight that had no clear winner. He decided it was a good idea to take a closer look and find if he was open and ready to be finished off. He zeroed in within 20 yards.

Though his humans eyes were unable to penetrate the deep gloom around him, Gale couldn't help but feel a discomfort in his chest. Have to reach the church... He kept calm as he finally entered onto a main street, the lampposts flickering a weak light. Just down the street he could already see the tall bell towers of the church.
Almost there.

Medium saw Gale's eyes looking to the church, he knew where he was heading. Now to intercept was the challenge. He started running and stopped at a gargoyle. Gale was unarmed. Just how he had hoped. He simply stared and smiled... this could be a great start to a great night.

Sanguis walked out of the woods, having not gained a single new "friend". As he walked in he tried to make up his mind, finally muttering "It's breakfast time"

Gale caught a flash of a figure on a roof, slipping into the darkness from his view. Dang, already hunted, he faced forward just in time to run head long into a girl. They both tumbled to the ground, his head knocking into hers with a strong enough force to make him see stars. He fell on his hands and knees with a throbbing pain in his head and arm. Gale quickly shook it off and stood to help the woman, "Are you alright miss?" He asked.

Amanda flinched away from him and tried to gather her surroundings...5 paces? no 3 paces. That wasn't right! She groaned in frustration and pressed delicate fingers against her temples in order to regain control.
No. she thought firmly.I do not need to attack this man. I'm NOT hungry. I'm not. I'm not.
She struggled as she tried to remember her surrondings.
The road...the road was behind her. Which meant that the stranger had knocked her hard enough to swing her around and force her to face the alley way again. by the sound of the closeness of the cars, she could tell she was a good four paces away from her usual position. four paces and a 35 degree turn right, forward ten steps and then another left, 14 steps--
She realized she had been silent towards the stranger.
"N-no. It's fine." she mumbled. She felt awkward; he hadn't said enough for her to know where he was standing. next to her? in front of her? She decided to stare at her feet and ignore the grumbling in her gut.
I'm not, I'm not, I'm not...

Medium lost his focus. A new girl? Lost and confused by the look of it. She couldn't take this proud moment away from him though. He could tell she was hungry, he could feel it and it was only a matter of time before she took his precious kill. Medium knew he had to move in to get his chance of a lifetime. With a flash he appeared on the street, running full speed at Gale ready to finally finish what he had started.

The hunter whirled at the sound of running footsteps, diving into a headlong roll when he saw a shaded figure rushing towards him, his coat was snagged in the creatures hands, causing Gale to skid on his face instead of roll to his feet. "Ow..." he grunted, kicking his attackers face.

"Oh Gale, at last we meet again." Medium smiled. "lets dance." With that he swept for his feet trying to take out Gale's only way of escaping.

Gale jumped over the attack and used the momentum to grab onto the vampire's shoulders, with a blur of brown coat he swung over the demon's head so he landed behind his enemy and in a defensive position in front of the young woman, who had oddly not moved yet. "Run! I'll hold him off while I can!" He urged.

Sanguis headed to the sound of commotion, because where there was commotion, there were people. Nearing the commotion he saw the dang vampire hunter, his old friend Medium, and a new girl, but he could tell even from this distance she was a vamp. He called out "Medium my good friend, need any help?"

((please don't use God's name like that.))

Amanda was getting pissed. She had no idea what was going on and all she wanted was to retreat back into her home and settle herself down with the stored blood in her refrigerator.
((because she's blind, it's really hard for her to hunt unless the prey just kinda falls into her lap (Ex: Gale bumping into her* so mostly she depends on donated hospital blood and when she's desperate, blood from a butchers shop or what ev.))

"Haha! Oh gale I see you've made a new friend! I think were both lucky she's blind or we'd both be feeling a bit empty stomached (cuz he'd be dead and i would starve:P)! Now I really don't care for the girl, can we please just have a little fun?" He heard Sanguis yelling from a distance and yelled a reply. "I don't really need much help old friend, but you can watch if you desire. Me and this chump have beef!!" Medium threw a quick 1-2 aimed for Gale's core in attempt to weaken his foe.

Amanda began to form the scene in her mind-- the man that had fun into her. Gale. She had heard the other vamps call him that. Some human that had been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then Medium was the unplesent vampire who had blantantly called her blind.
Run into her, sure. Confuse her, she could deal.
But remind her of her disadvantage and there was sure to be a problem.
She stepped in front of the human and managed to block the punches on shere accident.
She pretended to look annoyed.
"Ever heard of the term "ladies first" she demanded. She tried to picture in her mind where the annoy vamp was and directed her talk towards him.
"Look, alls I wanted was a nice, quiet evening out on the town. a couple of drinks here, maybe a walk through the park. But no. Heaven forbid the blind girl has a bit of rest, eh?" She spat. "Now, I'm really not all that hungry. But if you're gonna be blunt, allow me to reprove you of your meal." She made a lucky guess and kicked out, her foot hitting something firm in the chest.

Gale wasn't a brawler, that much was for certain, the only thing he could do was dodge his attacks. Though he was able to dodge the first punches by a hairsbreath, the kick to the chest from the female vampire sent him sprawling to the ground. I'm getting picked on by a bunch of vampires, He cursed under his breath and rolled to his feet.

"Medium, you have gotten boring in your old age. Your going to loose your meal if you dont start being more exciting, or at least nicer to the other vamps. Remember what happened last time you were mean." Sanguis started chuckling at the memory of Medium getting trampled by his animal friends

"A nice kick for being blind as a bat. Why are you protecting the human? I'm just trying to have fun." Medium maintained a constant stare at Gale making sure he wasn't foolish enough to flee. "Shut up Sanguis." Medium said with a half smile.

"Yeah, and I was trying to have a peaceful evening." Amanda said, glaring in the directin of the vampire. "So, I guess we're both pretty dissapointed."

"So can I please have my meal or do I have to work for it?" Medium tensed, ready for either option.

Sanguis trotted over with the unnatural speed all vampires have, and grabbed the vampires hunter arms and pinned them at his sides, "Fight or not, i'll try and hold on till you reslove this."

"Thanks old friend, now I can focus on this hag. Your choice Amanda. But I don't really feel like killing a fellow vamp tonight."

"Awh," Amanda cooed with a sarcastic smirk, "You think you're gonna win. How cute."

Gale cursed. "Disgusting parasites, you all deserve to burn in the sun." He spat, swiping his feet in a round arc to take out his captor's feet from under him. As soon as he felt the grip loosen he unlocked his opponents grip and pulled him into a roll, giving the vampire a good kick to send him flinging off of him. As soon as he was free, Gale leaped to his feet and turned tail towards the church, less than a block down the street.

Sanguis cursed and sprinted after him, calling out to no one "Stop him!". Immediatly after he said that the neighborhoods cats and dogs all pounced towards Gale, slowing him down.

"Sanguis! Let him go! He isn't worth the energy. Plus it'd be too easy."

"You couldn't of told me that before i wasted all the time to control the animals? You owe me a free meal." Sanguis said completly serious.

"That won't be a problem. There's plenty of people out tonight. Now may we please focus on dealing with this hag that just helped let my meal escape?" He stared at Amanda furiously.

Sanguis just shook his head in exahperation. "Just apologize for being a prick!"

((darn:P)) "How am I a prick??" Medium was getting angry.

"Are you or are you not the one who insulted her, then threatened to kill her?" Sanguis asked while stepping in between him and the vampire girl.

"What is this? Me and you go back way farther than you and this stranger. Think Sanguis, do you really want to fight over some body you don't even know?"

"Yes, acually, i do want to get in a fight over someone i dont know, because unlike you, my power has a practical purpose" Sanguis mocked

"Ooooooh I'm so scared of some dogs and cats. What are they gonna do? Lick me to death?" Medium chuckled.

"You forget the nocturnal predators of the forest i live in Medium" Sanguis said darkly, momentairly blending in with the shadows
