"Would anyone mind if one froze? Mother sometimes gets angry when I go in water not ice..."

Ryu looked at her. "It's okay. One has a glass cover anyways. You have to get in by going underground," She mumbled.

"The ice will probably break the glass and she'll laugh at me..."

"Then please don't 'ice' anything," Ryu said, biting her lip.

"Oh, I don't do anything. Mother does."

Ryu rubbed her head. "Just soak. Promise you won't get wet!" She said, eyes changing to a blue.

"Whatever... She can't get angry if I just enjoy the sun... I mean it is father's."
(Perhaps she should ask you her parents are?)

Ryu smiled. "Who're your parents?"

"Khione and Apollo."

Maeve walked in and saw the two girls talking.

"Amazing," Ryu said, not once thinking about the Gods. She just thought the names were awesome.

"Hello Meave, I don't believe we've met."

Ryu waved Maeve over. "Took you long enough!" She mumbled.

((GTG SOON ): ))

Maeve looked at her. "Oh, yes. Well, no we haven't.... Hi." She finally said.

She smiled, "wondering how I knew your name?"

Ryu held her hands up. "I'm going to swim," She said, not wanting to know.

"Okay."

Maeve shrugged. "Yeah."

She backed up, still barely being able to hear bits and pieces of the conversation.

Her smile started to fade a bit, "comes with the job."

She nodded. "Right. I heard you were a goddess."

"Not of what though."

Ryu heard goddess and groaned again. She flipped backward into the pool then shot up yelling. Alyxandr popped up too smirking at Ryu. "Hey girl," He told her, his accent thick. "Alyx!" She cried, hugging him. They both looked up at Maeve and Sinopa talking. Ryu was still hugging Alyx.

"I don't know, they didn't tell me." She said.

"I had a feeling that would happen. You thought I didn't know you were eavesdropping? You really shouldn't do that. Karma always gets you back. Hello Alyxander."

Alyxandr nodded. "Hey Sinopa," He mumbled. He turned to Ryu. "Are you a prick?" He asked her. Ryu scoffed. "EXCUSE ME?!" She asked, appalled.

Maeve looked at the two in the pool. She was eavesdropping?

Maeve chuckled.

"I'm a he!" Alyx snapped. Maeve had been speaking out loud. "How could you hear that?" Ryu asked him. He just smiled.

She shook her head, "perhaps being the goddess of knowledge is also a bit annoying," she thought aloud.

"No, it's not. It's just intimidating," Alxy called out, smiling.

"Yes she was eavesdropping."

Maeve rolled her eyes. "I meant Ryu."

Alyx sighed and hauled himself out of the pool. He walked up to the girls. "You know, you girls need to make sense. And she can't even hear you, ya know," He mumbled.

"Need to make sense?! I make perfect sense thank you very much! I know what everyone thinks, does, and knows. I know what will happen. I also make sense."

"Obviously not if an Atlantian can't understand you!" Alyx retorted.

Maeve shook her head. "Maybe you need to make sense."

"Look, all I know is you girls aren't talkin' right," He mumbled, laughing.

She chuckled. "Okay, this is confusing."

"She could before!" she said eyes blazing.

"Confusing?" she scoffed. "Not for me."

"But it is to me."

"Sinopa, chill. You aren't as awesome as you think," Alyx said. "Oh, Maeve, that was my plan from the beginning," He told her, smiling and shaking his head at both girls.

""As awesome as I think?" I have more power than you."

Maeve held her head. "Who knew talking can give you such a headache." She mumbled to herself.

"I knew."

Maeve glared half-heartedly. "Thank you for that information."

"You may have mor power then I, but you aren't top dog. You aren't Ms.Hellingsdon, and you aren't Zeus," Alyx said. He wasn't very nice.

Ryu waved Maeve over. "Come swim with me," She whined.

"That's because I'm not a dog, but someone's a fish."
