Why do you love Harry Potter: you can relate to the characters so much and Jo Rowling did a great job in making the characters seem so real.
How old are you when you first read harry potter: 12, i had heard about them for years and i just had never gotten around to read them, so i just picked up #1 one day and fell in love with them.

*shrugs* I read at a young age, and I finished the second book, then I fell behind when I went on a term-long trip. When I came back I was really behind on my reading skills and I didn't get up to the 4th book until I was eight. And anyway, when I was five I didn't understand most of the words.
oh... still I didn't read anything much at the age of five, I've just known Harry Potter when I was 10
Yeah, now I read them as often as possible, as long with Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials, and Susan Collins' The Hunger Games.
