Romance Lovers for the Challenge-Impaired discussion

I've only read , and I really enjoyed it. The heroine wasn't annoying the way a lot of historical romance heroines can be. Has anyone read the Arcane Society series? I was thinking of starting this series soon.

I've read and own just about everything that Amanda Quick/Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Castle has written. Obviously I love her stuff. Some are better than others, but her heroines aren't TSTL (for the most part). My favorites in her older books are and . Her first AQ Arcane books are favorites of mine, too, especially .

I just did a search to see how many books there are in the Arcane Society series, and saw that the books are written under her various pen names.

Amanda Quick is the pen name she uses for her historicals. Jayne Ann Krentz is for her contemporaries, and Jayne Castle is for her futuristics. The Arcane Society books are loosely connected and can be read as stand alones. I think the first historical one is . The nice thing about this author is that she's been writing for a long time and is quite popular. That means that you can find just about all of her books at the library.
