Well, this is my group. Nicole prompted my to create it long ago, but I forgot about it completely! Anyway, I hope this can be an actual group. I've added two books to the shelf of this group. I am reading them both. One is about learning the C programming language and the other is about Alan Turing. I recommend them both, even though it is kind of embarrassing to support a series implying that you are dumb. But the Dummies books are surprisingly useful and well written. Besides that, I am reading The Elegant Universe, by Brian Greene, as I have recently become interested in Physics.

Anyway, I'm Max. I have a great interest and love of computers. I started learning programming about a year ago through the Christa McAuliffe Space Education Center. I took a programming camp there on a language called Revolution, which they use for their simulators. We also did HTML. Ever since then, I've been captivated by programming, and maybe even desire to become a software engineer. Anyway, to start this group, let me point you to a piece of computer-related art I created recently for the monthly special at http://takeoutphoto.blogspot.com, a photo blog (photography is also one of my interests). It is the inside of a dismantled, ancient Apple laptop with text from simple, mini-programs from the C book. It is at http://flickr.com/photos/28644705@N03....

Enjoy the group!
