Hahaha love this! And i hope to be a senior member some day or maybe even a mod!! *smiles*
*curtseys* Thanks, I was soooooo excited for the anniversary. And it's great that you love the group, Juillet.
Eh, we sorta stopped counting...
Usually when you start to correct people instead of being corrected.

Samesies.
I don't think we have senior members anymore :/ You'd understand what it meant back in its day, Rudy.

Yerp, the oldn' days wit' something, and something, and something. I think senior members ar just more mature (maybe) than regular members. I think...
Naw, they're just members that have helped the group since the beginning. CAD will always have a speical place in my heart. ^^

Jo and I are still senior members, and so is Light.
It basically means you have all rights to nom on noobs, but not kick them out of the group.
=( Sadly, 'tis true. I'm in the AP courses at highschool, and it doesn't leave much time for anything after school besides homework. =PSo, I've probably been demoted, but ahwell. There are many new, capable..."older" members. =)

It has been a great year! I know, most of you are thinking Wait, but it’s the middle of June! Don’t be silly, we all can celebrate New Year’s in January. That’s not what I’m celebrating. In light of the upcoming anniversary (July 14. I’m posting a month early. Deal with it. ^_^) of the group closest to my heart, CAD, I have decided to make this newsletter to congratulate all of you on all the wonderful things we’ve done together in the past year.
Thanks to all of you, the current member count is over 400. For those of you who’ve stuck with us from the beginning, thanks for your support. For those who joined later on, I thank you for filling the ranks and making camp life enjoyable. Ands for those who just joined, thanks for trying out the group! I really appreciate all of your participation.
EVENT RECAP:
As for events, we had a highly successful—and fun-filled—Capture the Flag game, in late December. Bravo to all who participated, and especially to the organizer, Whimsicality.
Niobe’s Curse was a great hit, too. Thanks to all of you whose ideas led to the genius of a plague on the Hunters of Artemis. Pure brilliance, to all of you!
Also in progress, the Hunt for the Basilisk is under way. In order to get it really going, however, I think I’ll open up the roleplay of the Basilisk to all mods, to try to get some action going.
NEW STUFF:
In other news, I’ve decided that to get some group spirit going, we’ll have a group picture contest. If you’d like to submit a picture or drawing of yours that you think best represents our group, post it in the appropriate topic. Depending on how many we get, I think we will cycle through all the drawings, changing the group thumbnail every month or so. I know we have some very talented artists (whether pencil-and-paper type or the Photoshop variety, or just those who have a knack with Google Images)
UP-AND-COMING:
As you all have let us know, yes, there is another camp for Roman gods' children. We know this. As soon as Rick Riordan releases The Son of Neptune (sneak peek!), sometime in October, we will be able to get an accurate picture of the camp's layout. Then maybe, just maybe, we will create another group. Looking forward to the challenge, mods?
SPECIAL THANKS:
I’d like to add a special thanks here to the mods and senior members of the group. Without you, it would be chaos. You guys make the group the spicy thing it is! ☺
YEAH. THAT’S IT:
Thanks again, all you wonderful campers! I sincerely hope that you stick with this group and keep it the most amazing bunch of Goodreads members ever!
