i'm Re-ana. i am not a survivor, nor do i have cancer. i support this organization because my dad had cancer, my grandpa was skin cancer, and i lost my great grandparents, as well as my abuela to cancer.
thank you for joining and sorry about your mom.
I'm Gloria. And, although I have never had cancer, I know too many people who have had or have cancer. And I'm a sucker for a good cause.
Hey I am Kenj. I have never had cancer but my best friends did when we were younger. She speaks at THON every year at Penn State University! I am joining because I want to help support more people so they can be cured too! :)

awwww you must be something! and a question for ya...why do you go by John? A lot of my friends go by Johnny when their name is John.
I'm Daphne, and I don't have cancer and am not a survivor, but my brother died, incidentally on 1st January 2011. He was 29 at the time. I don't want others meeting his fate.
I don't have cancer, I never had cancer, and I don't know anyone who has had it. I just hate cancer.
Hi I'm Shannon :)When I was about 10 or 11 years old my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer...thankfully she survived and is healthy and herself again.
One of my friends' mum died after she had had bone cancer and breast cancer..one after the other :( I cried when she told me :(
My friend's dad died from cancer (I forgot what it was) when she was about 10 years old...so sad :( Her younger sister was only 4 years old when he died so she doesn't remember him :(I hate what cancer does to people and the people around them...it is like a disease emotionally as well as physically :(
I'm Joan. 13 years ago I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, had a radical hysterectomy and 64 radiation treatments which left me with radiation-induced colitis. Small price to pay. I recently lost a friend to the same type of cancer--she ignored her symptoms until too late. Don't do that--no matter how fearful you are of hearing bad news, that news may save your life.
I am Jessica i am not a cancer survivor nor do i have it...but alot of people have it and i know many who were taken from it

Yes..... that is inspiring... and sad
I'm really sorry about your friend too Joan :( That must have been sad :( I would have hated to lose a friend :(*cyberhugs* (as above :P)
Yeah.... That's a shame *tear*
Yeah I hope that doesn't happen to many other people...
Hi, I'm Irene. I have never had cancer; but I lost my grandfather to colon cancer two summers ago, my best friend is at high risk for breast cancer, and my boyfriend is fighting cancer. I am a supporter of those against it.

There is this lady who my parents are vising now.She has a really bad cancer, it is so bad that she has gone blind and is paralyzed and she can't eat or move :( To put it plainly, she is dying.
She is only 50 so that's quite young to die :'(
But she's not going to die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
@ Tyranny Odair:I'm sorry about your grandma :'(
My great aunt died from cancer not long ago and I didn't get to say goodbye :'(
The last time I saw her was over a year ago :'(
I wish that I had been able to say at least "I will miss you"/ "Goodbye, I love you"
Sorry about your great aunt, and i hope the lady you mentioned gets better. (It really sucks not being able to see and i can only imagine what it is like not being able to see all the time, in addition to the cancer).
