Hello, Eva. :) I love the Outlander Series as well. I can't wait for the next book to come out. It's been over two years, so it has to be coming out soon, right? ;) I mostly read romance. That's not to say I won't read anything else, however, when I go to search out a book to read that is usually the section of the book store I head towards.
Romantic suspense is my favorite genre. The danger element, when done correctly, adds to the depth of the characters and their connection. I just finished a book by Susan Andersen. I've read all her books to date, however I enjoyed her earlier ones more so than these she's come out with more recently as she's gotten away from true suspense.

Hi, I am Siobhan from Dublin, Ireland and am a Reader only, apart from a few reviews on GR thats the only writing I do :) Looking for new and inspiring authors as lately have found I was sticking to my favourites.
Eva wrote: "Hi. My name is Eva which many of you know. I am definately not a writer like most of you in the group. I am a reader and a blogger. I love to read and you rarely see me without a book of some sort ..."
Thanks Eva :)
Thanks Eva :)
Hey everyone! I'm Lena and I'm a book addict. Like most writers, I'm a huge reader! Well, not a huge person who reads, but you get the point! :)I don't know that I have a preferred genre. I don't follow trends as far as reading goes. I actually stay away from the things that are trending right now, as it seems that when a trend pops up, publishers will publish anything in that genre (werewolves, dystopian, etc), regardless of quality. Also, sometimes I feel like i'm reading the same story over and over!
Anyway, I tend to be too addictive a reader to read series, as then i neglect the laundry and stop eating until i'm done w/ the series.
I love talking about books, and I've read lots of genres, etc. So bring on the book discussions!
Lena,I do the same thing when I start reading a series. The difference is, I do it anyway. ;)

Greetings all, my name is Red Haircrow. I'm a Native American who was born in Germany, and generally visit back and forth between there and the US, but Berlin is my hometown. I am active in Native American affairs and history and served as president of Indian Education for four years, so it's culturally important to me but societally I am also German.I'm a writer yes, a publisher and editor but I began my professional career in law enforcement, worked several years as a private chef and I am currently finishing a degree in Psychology.
I started reading when I was four years old and it is my passion, along with book collecting. I simply LOVE books. Science fiction and fantasy are my favorite genres, fave authors, C.J. Cherryh, M.A. Foster and Michael Moorcock, but I also read a lot of nonfiction. Primarily it's history, sociology or psychology, but many things catch my interest so I have hundreds on geography, travel, languages, cuisine...just about everything! That's probably why on my personal time I blog about a variety of topics, dream interpretation to football. www.redhaircrow.com.
My hobbies and interests range as well. I enjoy archery, research (WW2 era Europe, the Holocaust, ancient and modern Russia), going to renaissance festivals, watching Star Trek and Firefly, and conversation (too many to list). I'm one of those people that's up for anything. When a friend calls on Saturday night, even if I'm working, saying they feel like going dancing or something, I say "sure, why not?" and go.
Howdy!I'm Jeffrey Kosh, and yes, I'm a writer, but am also a reader, too. I'm a 'Sladist', that means a fan of Michael Slade's novels, and avid reader of psychological thrillers. The book of my life is (and will always be) Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley. I have a blog to review and host fellow authors I'm in contact with (any genre), however I use it to spotlight only the books I've enjoyed most.

Glad to be here.
