Super 8 RP discussion

((Here's the Diner.))

Cary and Julie walked in. They were just friends, of course, and they'd never admit they liked eachother. They picked a seat and sat down. This was... a buisness meeting. Yeah, that could work.

Daniel, noticing Julie from the window, walked in, grinning. "Julie! Carey! How're you doing?" Daniel pulls up a seat at their table. "Mind if I join ya? Of course you don't."

Julie smiled. "Yeah, sure, go ahead. I was just talking about this art museum--"
"Yawn." Cary chimed in. Julie ignored him and kept going.
"In Colorado, and they have this huge, lifelike statue of the Runaways!"

Daniel nodded. "Good. Hey Carey, do you have a sparkler I could use?"

Alice walked in. "Hi," she says shyly.

"Yeah, here." Cary said, taking a pack of sparklers out and handing it to Daniel. "Take the whole pack, I've got eight more." He said, as Alice walked in.

"Alice, hey!" Julie said, offering her the seat in between her and Daniel.

Daniel grinned. "Thanks man!"

Alice nodded polietly and sat down. "Anyone seen Joe?" she asked queitly. The minute she said it, she wished she hadn't.

Cary gave her a funny look, so Julie elbowed him in the stomach. "Not around. I think he might still be home, or maybe at Charles'." Julie said.

Alice nodded, excuse herself and walked out. "Thanks!" she called after them.

As she walked away, Julie looked at Cary and Daniel. "That was quick. That reminds me, I'm supposed to ask you and your families over for a barbecue tonight. And the other guys' families as well."

Daniel stopped and thought. "Tonite? Umm, I think I am busy. Hold on." Daniel flips the station to airforce. "Commander Shepard, please." After their conversation, Daniel shook his head. "He's having some airforce buddies over."

Cary spoke after Daniel. "I can make it. I probably should ask my parents first, but they'll say yes to anything that can make them look good." He said, laughing.

Joe made it to the diner. He walked in. "Hey, guys!" He said to the trio at the table. Julie and Cary smiled. "Hey!" Julie said.

Alice followed in with a curt nod. "How'dya do, again?" She giggled, then looked around for anyone her dad knew.

Charles trotted in. "Daniel! Cary! Julie! How are you? You ready to make my movie?"

"Do I get to blow up something in this scene?!" Cary asked, excitedly.

"I've already finished the fake props you wanted!" Julie asked, smiling.

Charles shook his head. "Cary, Cary, Cary, I don't think so. Not this scene. I'm sorry!"

Alice smiled. "Why'd you want me?"

Charles started blabbering on and on about the wife's part as Daniel's eyes grew wide. ((Can there be the monster coming outside? Please?))

((Well, the train hasn't crashed yet, but yeah, sure. :D))

Julie's and Cary's mouths dropped. Neither could move a muscle. Julie was scared out of her mind. She grabbed Cary's hand by accident, because it's what she does when she's scared. they both stared dumbly out the window with Daniel. Joe turned around, and saw what they were looking at. "Charles! Look!"

((yay!))

Alice took one look out the window and reached for Joe's hand."Umm, Charles ," she hissed frantically, "Turn around!"

Charles glared at all of them. "Sissies!" he muttered before turning around. "OH MY GOD! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! Run, run, run!"

Daniel wanted to smack Charles across the face when he muttered sisses. Daniel got out of the chair and urged everyone up.

Julie and Cary stood up arubtly. "Quick... let's use the back exit!" Cary shouted, pointing towards the kichens. He and Julie ran into that direction. Joe took Alice's hand and pulled her along, following Julie and Cary.

Alice smiled slightly to herself, as if she had a secret with Joe. She turned, looked in his eyes, smiled, and ran. Alice's hair whipped against her, a mess of light blonde.

Daniel coughed as he ran, following Alice and Joe, Julie and Cary. He knew both of them liked each other, he would start to feel like a third wheel with Charles.

Charles looked around, and caught Daniel's eye. Charles knew they were thinking the same thing. Charles gazed longingly at Alice, wanting her so badly. He and Joe needed to have a little talk. He only invited Alice to do the movie with them so he could get to know hre. Not her smooch up with Joe. Charles' fists balled up as he ran, racing against the wind, pulling up past Daniel and gaining on Joe and Alice. "Hey Alice, hey" Charles gasped for air, "Joe!" Charles sped ahead, panting, and gasping, lungs burning.

Joe slowed down as they made it down the street a bit. "Here... I think we're safe here..." Joe said, panting. Julie and Cary stopped up not too far behind them. Joe saw Alice's hair whipping around in the wind. Man... she was beautiful.

"Can somebody tell me why the Hell we just saw a freaking monster outside of the diner?!" Julie said, catching her breath. "I have got to paint that thing for our movie!" She said, groping in her bag for her sketchpad and pencil. She began sketching the beast.

"That thing could have eaten us, and you want to sketch it?!" Cary exclaimed to Julie.

Alice hugged Joe. "Thanks for helping me. I could've died!" Then Alice looked around cautiously, for anyone her dad could've known. Alice smiled at quickly let go.

Daniel sat down next Julie. "It's nose was a circle shape with points sticking in. Make this a little skinner. Any suggestions, Alice, Cary, Charles, or Joe?" Daniel started telling Julie suggestions.

Charles coughed. "Man! Julie have you gone insane? And wow! This is way more exciting than anything that happens at my house! God! My sisters would be jealous. Phew, man, I am tired!"

Joe blushed. Then he sat down next to Daniel and looked over at what Julie was sketching. "I think it's eyes were a bit bigger..."

Julie took the suggestions. Soon, it was looking more like the monster, but not quite. "Hmm..." She looked up at Charles. "Man, I'm an artist. Do you know an artist that isn't crazy?"

Cary sat down on the other side of Julie. "I think it's legs were longer..."

((Hey, I think we should take this to the street, 'cos we're not in the diner anymore. :) ))

Julie and Veronica, at a table, talking about how obnoxious the guys had become.

Julie put a menu in front of her face when Cary walked in. "Don't look now, but Cary just arrived."

Veronica nodded. "What's he doing?"

Cary was looking around for Julie.

Drew came in after Cary, and spotted Veronica and Julie. She smiled at them.

Codie followed, and found them as well.

Julie looked up for a moment, looking at the smiling twins, and Cary spotted her. He walked over to their table. "Julie, I'm sorry!"

"Charles finally told you?" She asked, confused. She didn't think he would do it.

"Yeah, and I really am sorry. Please forgive me?!"

"Fine. But only because I know it was actually Charles' fault."

Codie stood there, a bit miffed at the terms 'Charles' and 'fault' in the same sentence.

Drew smiled at her twin. "Not all he's cracked up to be, eh?" Smile big, she continued, "Good luck tryin' to get 'em to explain. Where's Joe?"

Codie thought for a moment. "I think he's--"

Having excellent timing, Joe walked in before she could finishher sentence. "Where did Alice go?"

"Beats me." Codie said.

"Maybe we would know if Charles hadn't been such a jerk before." Veronica said.

"Hey, Charles isn't a jerk..." Codie said, getting a bit heated up.

Drew smiled at Codie's sad attempts. "Codie, listen, you just met the guy. This group has known him pretty much his whole life! And, Joe, I am not sure if Alice followed. I think she went back to Charles'."

Codie crossed her arms. She knew Drew was right. Normally Codie would be OK with that if she weren't the one who was wrong.

Julie nodded. "Yeah. He'll get to know you better, and then bam! He's suddenly the Grinch."

Codie still wasn't convinced.

Matt walked in, and smiled at the twins. "Twins," he said evenly. "Gang."

Drew nodded, without looking up at Matt.

Daniel walked in, followed by Alice and Charles.

Charles smiled. "MATT! My man!" Looking around, he asked, "Did you tell 'im yet? Didya?" He didn't acknowledge Codie.

Alice smiled at Joe and slowly walked to her.

Daniel smiled at Veronica, and ran up to her. Smiling, he handed her a crumbled-up note. ((The note: Okay, we ARE friends right? If not, stop reading. If we are, and you are continuing, I was curious about something. Will you please be my girlfriend? Please? Or, I understand if you like one of the other guys. Like Charles *scoff* Or Joe-TAKEN. Or, maybe Matt or Cary. If you say no, please don't bring it up, due to embaressment. NOT OF YOU, OF COURSE.)) Daniel smiled sheepishly, thinking about the note. She would most likely figure it was his first time asking a girl out.

Matt smiled at Charles, but never took his eyes off of the twins.

"Matt." Codie replied. She then saw Charles come in, and kept looking down at the floor. He hadn't acknowledged her at all. Maybe he hadn't noticed her! She decided that this must've been the case. She sort of stood by until he did... if he did.

Julie accidentally tipped over the salt shaker. "Again? Really? Ugh..."

"You might want to throw some over your shoulder." Cary said to her.

"Tch. That's just superstition, which I don't believe in."

Veronica opened the note. She read it, and smiled. "Of course!"

"Alice, there you are!" Joe exclaimed, smiling.

Charles was still looking down. "Julie. Throw salt over your shoulder." Charles took a deep breath and looked up. "Hi Drew, Joe, Julie, Cary, Veronica, Alice, and Daniel." Grinning, he nodded. "Okay, now, if my calculations are correct, I am missing someone."

Matt smiled. He knew it was gonna be him.

Drew blinked. "Umm, Charles? You're, you're missing two people."

Charles shook his head. "Nonsense!"

Daniel went to hug Veronica, but blinked at Drew and Charles' conversation.

Alice smiled at Joe, but walked away from him.

Charles smiled and nodded, waiting, trying to make everyone annoyed by the suspense. "And, of course," he started, walking towards Matt and Codie. "The only one in here who doesn't have a reason to be mad at me," Charles took a deep breath, "MATT!" Charles walked up to him and patted him on the back.

"Thanks man!" Matt smiled at Charles.

Drew's face dropped. She glanced at Codie. "What about Codie?" she whispered.

"I'm invisible!" Codie exclaimed. "To Charles, at least..." She grumbled.

Julie and Veronica smiled at Charles slyly. He was suck a moron sometimes.

Joe and Cary just sort of awkwardly stood there, staring at Charles.

Charles smiled. "Why are you all staring at me? Have I forgotten someone?"

Codie cleared her throat.

Julie and Veronica gestured to Codie.

Charles blinked. "I knoooow. I said Drew." He frowned. "You all must think I am stupid or something!"

Drew frowned, she knew by the way Charles was speaking, he was serious.

Matt blinked. "Maaaaaaan. Dude, you forgot your girlfriend!"

Charles blinked. "Girlfriend? I don't have a girlfriend."

Daniel bit his lip. Charles wasn't faking.

Alice frowned. "Charles. I think you're forgetting Drew's sister!"

Charles nodded slowly, then opened his mouth. "Drew has a sister?"

Matt smiled at Codie, then Drew. He motioned for Drew to do something to Charles.

Drew nodded. "Codie," she whispered in her sister's ear, "Do something to make him remember you." What she said next was too soft to be heard. (It was: "kiss him").

Codie looked at her sister. 'Kiss him?!' she mouthed. Although she was secretly dying to... It seemed... weird. She only met him yesterday. She nodded and decided to go with it. She walked right in front of him, and pecked him on the mouth.

Joe, Cary, Julie, and Veornica stood there kind of awkwardly.

((Ever notice how weird is spelled... weird? XD))

Charles smiled and wrapped his arms around Codie. "Ahh, what people do to get your attention. It's fun to get people annoyed. "

((Why is that? it's. . . weird. . . My teachers husband died. I feel terrible))

((Oh. D: We had an earthquake today! The worst damage we had was a whole lawnchair falling over! :O Everyone was freaking out. It was like Arizona with rain.))

Codie gave him a sly look. Joe and Cary shook their heads; Charles worked in funny ways.

((I know! I heard! We felt it here, too. My mom was at work, she said people were flipping out. Nothing happened, except shaking. We don't get earthquakes here.))

Drew and Matt looked at each other and started to giggle. Soon, Alice and Daniel were giggling too.

((My class started flipping out; it happened in our 4th block. XD The teacher hid under a desk.))


Codie's face went red. "What?" Veronica and Julie joined the giggling crowd.

Drew smiled at her naive (sp?) Sister. She shook her head. "He played you. You fell for the trap."

((Haha, wait, question did that hurricane hit you or around you? Its expected to hit here Sunday. They are closing the public transportation into the city and having everyone evacuate.))

((Hitting here now. D: Evacuation makes me think of... no, I'm not going to bother you by saying it. *coughSUPER8cough* We won't have school Monday. It's not official, but the weather's supposedly so bad that it's really obvious.))

Codie smiled back. "You kind of helped, Traitor." She joked.

Drew smiled. "Yah, that's me." Her blue eyes twinkled.

((You had to evacuate? Haha, me didn't. I was plopped on the couch, watchin' TV.))

Joe smiled. "So, what now?"
