Cary and Julie reached her driveway, hand in hand. They stopped, and she turned facing him. They sat there, soaking up the atmosphere, staring into one another's eyes. Words couldn't describe they great time they had, so Cary resorted to leaning in and kissing Julie. She could've sworn she felt a little spark, that didn't come from the fireworks in Cary's backpack. They pulled away for a moment, smiling at eachother. "I better go...." Cary reluctantly said. He walked off, down the street. Julie walked into her house, walked into her room, and began painting stuff.

Julie was painting a picture of herself digging her siblings' graves, when the phone rang. She picked it up. "Yullo."
"Julie? Hey, it's Cary."
"Oh, hey!" Julie said, her heart fluttering.
"We're heading down to the train station, soon, and I told Joe we'd meet him and the rest of the guys at the crosswalk. I'll pick you up now."
"Okay, sounds good to me. See you then!"
"Bye!"
"Bye!" Julie replied, and got some props she made. She threw them into her bag and ran out the door.

Cary arrived at Julie's house and saw her waiting on her porch. He took her by the hand, standing in the same place, where just and hour earlier, he had kissed her. They walked off to the crosswalk.

Julie woke up the next morning, smelling the paint and clay in her musty, messy bedroom. She got dressed and ready, ate some breakfast, and left for Veronica's house. They would find out what was up with Charles.
