Art Club discussion

NOTE: you can either read these directions or click on (some html is ok) above where you write a comment.

1. Take a picture or scan your artwork.
2. Put the picture on your computer. [like, import pictures from your camera or whatever] Remember where you saved it so that you can find it again.
3. Upload your picture to the internet. Some ways to do this:

1. Upload it as a picture on goodreads: Go to your profile, click on your profile picture, click "add more photos"
2. Upload pictures to www.photobucket.com
3. Put pictures on your blog at www.blogger.com 

4. Get the direct link for your picture.

On goodreads, go to your picture and click "largest size" and get the link from where you would type www.goodreads.com to get the direct link. [control + c = copy; control + v = paste. Or right click and copy/paste if your control key doesn't work well like on my old laptop XD]
Photobucket will tell you what the direct link is.
On blogger, click on your picture so that you're in a window where your image is the only thing in the window. That link is your direct link.
Note: on Google Chrome, you can right click on an image and click "open in new tab" to get the direct link. Also on images.google.com you can search an image, click on the image, then click on Full-size image over on the right side of the screen to get the direct link for that image. 

5. Now that you have your direct link, you can insert it here:

<(no space)img(space)src="(direct link)"/>

delete (no space), put a space instead of (space), and replace (direct link) with your direct link.

There is a width limit on images as they appear on goodreads.

I took a class on HTML. I had to learn about all of this, and then some. :3

Eve you should try just jumping in and trying to do it; I find that it's helpful to figure things out as you're doing it.. like in chemistry, I work out a problem while checking the teacher's guide to make sure I'm doing it right when I don't understand the directions.
