Stephen (havan) | 548 comments The rules of this proposed game are simple. Coming up with the puzzlers is not. I've played this in another group that I belong to and it's been a lot of fun.

Rules:
Think of two well-known novels that share a word in their titles. Then meld the two plots into a single thread and challenge all comers to deduce the combined title. Only one of the two books must be on queer themes or by an openly queer author

e.g.

Clue (melded plot summary):
Gary Gilmore, in 1977 is to become the first person executed in the United States since the reinstitution of the death penalty but first recites a homerotic poem about his civil war nursing.

Answer (Melded Title)
Executioners Song of Myself

Some liberties may be taken with articles & spellings to make the titles fit but that should be kept to a minimum.

OK? Try this one...

Divine, a drag queen dies of tuberculosis and is canonised as a result of her miracle of making a retarded man into a genius. But her beatification is put in doubt when the man starts to become stupid again. Oh, and the mouse dies.

Feel free to answer and/or post a new one. This will most likely be a low traffic thread
