Q&A with Miranda Parker discussion

Welcome. I would like to get to know you better before we begin the read-a-long. So here' an icebreaker.

I like to read my novels during a bubble bath or on my bed with a favorite throw on top of my legs. When and where is your ideal place to read?

I usually read in the early morning before the kids get up for school and then while they are watching TV. So I read in a comfy chair in the morning and in bed at night! CONGRATS on your new book!!!

Thank you, Nora. I used to have a reading chair when Selah was small. Why didn't I get rid of it?! I need one.

My best place to read is aboard a cruise ship, where I can doze and read and doze some more.

My regular reading is before bed, in a lounge chair. It helps to clear my head of all the real things that keep me awake.

Ideally, any time of day is fine. I like to curl up in a comfy chair or lie in bed. Under a beach umbrella with a cold pitcher nearby and a good pair of sunglasses would be great.

In reality, I do the majority of my reading in snippets while cooking, in the bathroom, in between dozing at night, at traffic lights...pretty much anywhere I can.

Sarah, one of my wishes is to take my daughter on a cruise before she begins highschool. I like your reading station. :)

Pat, I read in snippets, too. Usually tonight I read a book while pruning in a bubble bath. But I have a lot of writing to do tonight!

I read everywhere and anytime; while waiting in the car for someone, in line at the store, drs. office, friends homes, school, on the train, etc.

But my favorite places to read are on my large comfy sofa or in my bed.
