I'm opening this Q&A in celebration of The Immortality Virus' print release TODAY.

I welcome any questions at all, including spoilers, BUT if your question or comment does contain a spoiler, please mark it because not everyone in this group has read the book.

The most commonly asked question and, alas, one I cannot give a definite answer to. I brought the main story in The Immortality Virus to a close, but I did leave the ending open to continue exploring the world and the course of changing events over time. I did this intentionally, partly because every story is always part of a greater whole, and partly because I was playing with the idea of a sequel. At this point, one is not written, nor even more than a vague idea, and I have moved onto another project that I feel very strongly about, but it is possible that I would consider revisiting this world one day, especially if enough readers are interested.

Cassie Scot: Normal Detective (Title subject to change at any time and might be, among other things, Cassie Scot: Paranormal Detective, with the "para" crossed out, or Kiss of Death: A Paranormal Mystery, with the "para" crossed out.)

The short premise: Cassie Scot is the ungifted daughter of powerful sorcerers, living between worlds but not belonging to either. She wants to find a place for herself, but living as a private investigator in the shadow of her family's reputation isn't easy. When she is pulled into a paranormal case and tempted by a handsome sorcerer, she will have to decide where she truly belongs.

That one does have a sequel -- it's actually 1 of 4, and they are all drafted. I don't have a publisher for it at the moment, but I do have some leads with agents.

Since I was 8. My first story involved Cabbage Patch Dolls going to Mars. I regret, I no longer have it. :)

I do have a few other early efforts written using an electric typewriter and bound with masking tape. In one of them, my 13-year-old self has some interesting things to say about 50-year-olds, and how they've really lived their life already, so...

And now I write about immortality. The different a couple of decades makes. :)
