I'm Colleen the moderator of the group. I look forward to meeting you and discussing many books about angels with you :)

Hey, I saw you had started this group and I joined. I love stories about angels. Thanks for starting the group. My name is Danielle, by the way. :)

LOL, its nice to meet u Danielle....I have a feeling we are going to be great friends! Yeah, I decided to start this group and then I got distracted, we r trying to sell our house and its been time consuming. So it will probably be a week before I can really set it up the way I want. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation to read Raziel....I was at first disappointed because the writer had the angels drink blood but once I focused on the relationship, I started to really en joy the story. I will let u know what I think when I'm done :)

The blood-drinking part was weird. Here's my thought on that:

(view spoiler)[ Since the angels had fallen and didn't have light of heaven and the energy from being there, they had to get their light and energy from another source, like blood. I could be wrong, but that's how I reasoned it. (hide spoiler)] I hope you like the book in spite of that!

I finished the book Danielle and I did like it. I really liked the relationship between the two characters and I'm considering reading the sequel.

Hi Davina, welcome to the group. I guess my first question would be...do you want to read about Fallen angels, Angels "still with their halo's" or Nephilim (half angel, half human)?

I hope we can help swing you over to fiction as well :) If you look on our bookshelf, I've begun shelving different books by "gist" and author but If you tell us the kind of genre you like (i.e., adventure, mystery, kung fu kick butt type books) I'm sure we can give you suggestions to read.

Hello guys, it's Punya. I've just read a few books that includes Angels/Fallen Angels and got so interested that decided to join this group for more informations about authors and so on. I'm rather new to UF/PNR genre since I've always read HRs but I'm hoping to rectify that soon. :p

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome.

Colleen, I've just read two short stories by Charlotte Featherstone. Before that I never thought of trying PNR stuff much, not a great fan of vampires and werewolves. But, angels/fallen angels are a different matter entirely. I'm very intrigued. Even the Fey (I read a few books about them or had mentioned them) are great! I saw this group on my update page and thought why not join and look for recommendations. I'm really glad to be here and will look through the posts. :)

I placed Charlotte Featherstone's book Fallen Angels: The watchers on our bookshelf and I sent her a letter asking if we could set up a Q&A for her in the authors corner. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hey Colleen, did you add the 2nd one in the series? It's also about a fallen angel. Would love to see what Ms. Featherstone thinks. I wish she'd write more books, full novels, on fallen angels. I love her writing. The two I read had very interesting beginning but somehow left me frustrated because of the short lengths.

Hi all! I just love the topic of this group!
My name is Charlotte Featherstone, and I write pretty steamy historical romances--and yeah, a couple of contemporary short stories about fallen angels! I do have a short historical romance about angels who are fighting over a woman's soul. That short is coming out with Harlequin Spice, so it'll be steamy!


Not only do I find the topic fascinating to write, but I also love to read books that involve angels, and the fallen (which are my favorite). Just from a quick glance through the links I've noted a few books that I must pick up!
