Have you read any good books about angels?

Thanks for the info Amanda. I didn't know that there were angels in Wayward Son, I thought it was just an archaeological adventure story. I only just saw this book today on your shelves and added it to my "to read" shelf. It sounds like a great story!

I've just readTrinityand it was great! A whole bunch of beautiful warrior Angels, fighting Evil. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I checked out Angelology on audiobook from the library. I'll let you know what I think when I read it.

I read Angelology a little while ago. It was quite good - I liked that it had some substance to support the story even if the historical references were a bit tenuous.

Obviously I don't want to spoil but would love to discuss when you're into it. I hope you enjoy it.

I really loved this book! I'm awaiting the release of the second book, Hallowed to release next year!

There is the Personal Demons series by Lisa Desrochers. This series has demons and angels.

The first book:
(already out)

The second book:
(Releases July 5th, 2011)

The third book:
(Releases May 2012)

I'm listening to Angelology on audio cd right now. It's a bit dry, but I'd recommend it to all angel fiction fans. Pretty interesting ideas.

The Guild Hunter Series by Nalini Singh is worth checking out.

My favorite book of all time is Archangel by Sharon Shinn. I love reading books about angels/fallen angels, but have yet to find another that I enjoy as much as this one (and the subsequent 4 books in the series)Archangel I've reread it at least 5 times!

Nalini Singh recommended this book to me when I mentioned I love stories about angels: . I haven't read it yet, but it's definitely on my tbr list. Nalini Singh, Sharon Shinn, Meljean Brook and Ilona Andrews also have an anthology about angels coming out this October:

Amy that anthology is already on my wishlist. I haven't read Shinn yet, but I am huge fans of Singh and Andrews!

Well theres Angel Burnn n also the Fallen series, also this other series called The Fallen 1 & 2 but their not by Lauren Kate... theres more bt their not u no all angels like the mortal instruments... Unearthly....

Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly? That book was amazing! I liked the author's take on angels.

I had a hard time getting the idea of angels as the bad guy in Angel Burn. But I"ll read the others in the series.

There's a second book to Angelology?

I did not know this series has angels in it, still need to read this series. In my opinion, I like the US covers more than the UK covers.

Angelfire was definitely well worth reading. I was glued to every word. It's now one of my favorite books.

I have heard that the Demon Trapper's Daughter is good.

If you like warrior angels, Faith Hunter has a good series. I've read the first two and enjoyed them.

I have those in the pile, Barbara.

I hadn't heard of that one Danielle (i.e., the demon trappers daughter). I'll put it on the bookshelf.

I only read the novella so far on the kindle app for the computer that I got for free on amazon.

I don't know if it has angels though.

The demon trapper's series? I was looking under genre on the second book and I saw angels. Plus, I see that some people have put these books under the shelf label "angels"

Boy, I must have not noticed until now that this book has angels in it which some people have shelved under "angels" I bought this on the kindle, but I have not read it yet.
