The Katz Library discussion

I just finished Ender's Game which Rachael strongly recommended. Although I rarely like sci fi, I actually loved the book and think it should be strongly considered for the Read-In. It raises all kinds of issues about birth order, education, government, and philosophy as well as being an action story with very likeable characters. Did anyone else read it?

Eva, I loved it and i HATE sci-fi...so good, such an amazing story and every kid I've ever known who's read it, plus quite a few grown ups, have loved it and list it as a favorite. I think it's a great idea, though I think Read In should still just be a 7th & 8th event, or let this be a 6th & 7th event and do a different book all together for 8th or let them take part in UD Book Day...
