Kelly (kellymcgrath) Hi Everyone.
As you can tell from the Topic my name is Kelly. I live here in Waterford with a really boring social life and there is only one reason for that so I'm not going to be coy. I am a total Bibliophile! I have already read over 200 books since January, now I have to be honest a few of them have only been short books. My favorite genre is M/M Romance and I am a member of the M/M Romance Group here on GR and love it!
I'm an aspiring author myself, I have 2 books in WIP at the moment, I just need need to find the time to finish them but I am too busy reading lol, total catch 22!
I like to blog (again when I can pull myself away from a book), check it out if you like: Kelly's Place for Words or my web site.
Looking forward to talking to you all. :)
hello

Keith Kelly (nedkelly) Hey Kelly,

Nice name! lol! Welcome to the group. As soon as we have a few more members I'm going to add a Writers folder where members can share extracts from their work. Hopefully you'll share some with us?

Kelly (kellymcgrath) Hi Keith :)

Thanks for the welcome!

I don't think that will be a problem. Well that is as long as I actually start writing some more lol.

Keith Kelly (nedkelly) Great looking forward to reading it! So apart from M/M Romance (which i can't see myself getting into lol!) what else do you like to read?

message 5: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (kellymcgrath) I'm a bit of a romantic so just about anything in that genre. I try to stay away from historical's, but love a good classic. Paranormal/Shifters/Vampires etc. I will read a bit of anything. When I first started to really get into reading it was more to help with my spelling for school, but even then at the age of about 12 I was reading Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta series, so that was a jump start into reading. I pretty much read anything that I could find on my mothers book shelf. :)

Welcome, Kelly. I have to say, you sound pretty hardcore. I can't wait to see your read nominations.

Kate O'Hanlon (kateohanlon) 200 books since January! That's immense. I thought I was doing well with 50.
Welcome

Mae (goodreadscommae) | 217 comments One summer, many years ago I read 150 Romance novels (not included in my list here). I enjoyed myself terribly, but I have never read another Romance novel since then. Scared of getting hooked again.

You must have a mind like a computer to read so much and I can't help but be a bit envious. Welcome and well met.

Katie Mcsweeney (applekoko19) | 15 comments Hello Kelly, like everyone else I am amazed 200books this year!
Good luck with getting into your writing (it might give the rest of us a chance to catch up!).
I'm curious, what genre is your writing?? I am going to guess it is along the lines of paranormal romance...
Katie :)
