Flannery (flannabanana) I know it is summertime and people are busy but I just wanted to start a new thread to discuss (hopefully!) when we could try again.

If the weather is nice, I'd vote for just meeting up at Gasworks Park or some other place where I can just sit and read in the sun for a few hours while we swap. Maybe Saturday, July 9th?

Linda | 18 comments good for swap - I have many books this time - not sure on that date. Probably OK.

Lori I'm in!

Hi Flannery I've seen you around. :) Gasworks is ideal.

Leland (lelandhw) Sorry, can't make it this time. I'm saving all my books to send to my cousin in Afghanistan. (And honestly, I only have 2 right now)

Gasworks sounds wonderful though. Hope ya'll have a great time.

JBedient | 2 comments Did you guys ever have a swap? I'd be interested in hitting the next one - and hopefully it's somewhere in the short Northside again!

Flannery (flannabanana) We didn't meet. No one really committed to coming on the poll so I just made other plans that day.

I've tried twice since the initial book swap (where there were only four of us) and both times failed. It is pretty disheartening. Anyway, I started a new folder called "If there's ever any interest" where people can try again if they want...

Stephen (shrill_falsetto) | 1 comments I'd be interested as well provided it's still within city bounds. (I can't drive and busing around with a bunch of books is a huge pain in the ass.)
