Julie was pacing toward the hut. She was so nervous... Who wanted her here? She listed off people she knew... but she couldn't match a reason. As the shack came into veiw, she slowed a bit, her hair blowing in the wind.

Greg moved swiftly and quietly towards the hut. As he finally reached Hagrid's hut, he ducked down and smiled-he saw Julie coming!

Julie made her way down to the hut. She looked around. There wasn't anyone around! She sighed, hoping she wasn't being stood up in the middle of the night.

Abruptly, only black showing, Greg got up and started to walk towards Julie.

Julie heard footsteps and quickly looked all around her. Peeves?! She thought, worried. Wait-- Peeves floated. Who could it be?

Greg moved closer and closer to Julie, until he was only a few inches away. "Ahem!" he cleared his throat.

Julie turned around arubtly. She looked closely, and noticed that it was Greg. Greg! Her faced flushed a bright red, that clashed horribly with her Weasley-red hair. "Greg--ahh, I-- didn't-- I, err..." She stuttered.

Greg looked at her. "What? I am sorry, I don't understand?" he said softly and kindly. Then, remebering he was a Slytherin, said, "Spit it out, girl!"

"I-I wasn't expecting y-you," Julie managed. Jeez. She was such a Hufflepuff when it came down to anything. She was still blushing brightly. She looked into Greg's eyes, and fought the urge to smile at his big, brown eyes.

"What do you mean, you weren't expecting me?" Greg asked, playing dumb, trying to strike up conversation with Julie. He grinned and fought the urge to tuck her hair behind her ear.

"Well, if it was you who sent the note, you left it signed 'Anonymous,'" Julie said. "I mean, the possibility went through my head, but I've had a-- err, nevermind..."

"A note? From 'Anonymous'?" Greg asked. Then realizing the full truth of what Julie said, asked, "What do you mean the possiblity went through your head? And nevermind what?" he asked, grinning, almost telling Julie that it was him.

Julie blushed redder than any tomato on the planet. She took out the note and handed it to Greg. "That's the note I got... You were one of the possibilities, but for a certain reason... Then I realized that the fact you're a Slytherin and my reason clashed. I mean, why would a Slytherin ever want to date a Hufflepuff, let alone a Weasley--" She stopped, realizing she had said far too much.

"Hmmm, very interesting," Greg said reading the note. Once what Julie said got absorbed into him, his eyes flew up. "What did you just say about a Slytherin ever wanting to date a Hufflepuff, let alone a Weasley? Can you finish that sentence please?" He grinned, and crossed his fingers. "Just continue it, girl!" Greg said, trying to be his Slytherin self.

Julie looked up, still blushing. "Ahh-- I, um, err..." She stuttered. Well, he had already heard. Might as well go all the way. She took a deep breath and sighed. "Okay... Greg, I've had a crush on you since first year. But, I was always too nervous to say anything. I mean, Slytherins hate Hufflepuffs, and Weasleys..." She looked up, into his eyes, nervously.

Greg smirked down at her. "And how did this little crush devolp?" He crossed his fingers even tighter, hoping it was the same day/time.

((How did they meet? Like, maybe he dropped his stuff all over the floor one day in first year, and she, being the Huffie she is, helped him pick it up?))

"Well, that one day, in Transfiguration, when you dropped your parchment and quills all over the floor, and I help you get them up and sorted out. When I looked up at you, and when... When I met you," Julie said, now avoiding eye contact. She was such a dummy... admitting she liked him.

((Umm, let's go with your idea. I truthfully had none.))

Greg looked at her and couldn't help but laugh. He tried to hold it in, but he couldn't.

Julie looked up at him. "I know, right? It sounds like something out of an old black-and-white muggle movie."

Greg gasped for air. "No, no, no, no, NO! You have it all wrong. I am not laughing at you, more at me." Greg grinned. "After that moment, I could feel myself slipping madly in love with you. If you noticed, all through Transfiguration, I was watching you."

Julie blushed, and looked into his eyes. "Y-You don't mean..." She trailed off, realizing that her main dream at Hogwarts was finally coming true.

Greg nodded, looking right at her. He bent down to pick Julie up and spin her. "Julie?" he asked, "Will you do me one big ginormas ((SP)) favor? Will you go out with me?"

Julie looked up and smiled at Greg, and giggled a bit from the pure joy. She hugged him. "Bloody Hell, yes!"

Greg sighed a sigh of relief. "Praise the Lord ((Lord Voldemort. . . )). And Harry Potter, the Weasleys, Hermoine and of course, Draco!" he added listing the characters his Grandparents went to school with.

Julie smiled, but then that smiled faded. "Wait... what will other people say? About a Hufflepuff and a Slytherin?"

Greg frowned. He had thought of that, but before he knew Julie liked him, so he hadn't solved it. And he especially didn't want to hide it. "I don't know." He eventually said. "Unless you want to. . . " his face creased, "Hide it?"

Julie looked worried. That last thing she wanted to do was hide it... "What ever you want to do. I'd do anything for you," She said looking up into his eyes.

"You choose. I can't. Just do whatever you think is right. I am fine with that." Greg eventually got out.

Julie looked up at him, and hugged him tightly. "Honestly... I really don't want to hide it, but maybe it's for the best. We can see eachother in secret..."

((It's sort of like Romeo and Juliet! :D))

Greg took a deep breath. "Maybe." He said, squeezing Julie. I shoulda been a Ravenclaw, like my grandparents wanted. It woulda been less complicated. Why did I have to pull a buncha pranks and other things ((Pushing kids off bikes, taking their candy, etc)) the week before the train came and the sorting hat? Why? And for what? Just so I could be in the same house as Daniel Shepard, who dropped out ((Hehe, like my choice of name?)) Is this worth it? Hiding my girlfriend? Greg thought angrilly. He sighed.

((XD! Love the choice of name!))

Julie sat there in his arms for a few minutes. She couldn't tell what he was thinking, and didn't have time to. She was thinking a lot, herself. I wish I could've been born meaner. Then, I could've been put in Slytherin, and Greg and I wouldn't have this problem... She squeezed Greg tighter.

Greg looked wistful. He was gazing into her eyes, trying to figure out what she was thinking. All he knew was she had to be thinking something along the lines of what he was thinking. He opened his mouth to speak then quickly shut it.

Julie noticed him open his mouth to speak, and shut it. "What were you going to say?" She asked, looking into his eyes.

Greg paused before answering. "I was just gonna say it's my fault we have to hide this. I am sorry," he said avoiding Julie's eyes.

Julie looked up at him. "Don't say that. If anything, it's mine." She said, reaching up and kissing him on the cheek. As she pulled away, she looked up again and smiled at him.

Greg gulped and looked at her. "Why would it be your fault? I goofed off, and tormented little kids right before the Express came. I wanted to be in Slytherin with my best friend Daniel Shepard. My grandparents tried to convince me not to-it would come back later. I didn't listen and Daniel got expelled. Once I met you, I had slight doubts about Slytherin and now, I regret my choice."

Julie looked at him, in shock. That was horrible... She sighed and looked back up at him, smiling. "You were younger then. There's not much we can do about it now. It's in the past, we shouldn't dwell on it." She said, hugging him. The good thing about being a Hufflepuff was that it was really easy for her to see the good parts of things.

Greg's eyes fluttered down to the ground. He hugged Julie, though, smiling. "Thanks." Greg paused. "I wish there was a way for me to be resorted." Greg's eyes widend. "Maybe if there is, I could do it. I mean my grandfather was a prefect!"

((Daniel? XD Wrong group, Kitty!))

"Really? That's awesome! My grandmother was one too. But do you really think there's a way for you to get resorted? I mean, all of the Slytherins will hate you for betrayal, and whatever house you get sorted into probably won't be too fond of you for being a former Slytherin. I think you should stay put," Julie said, kissing him on the cheek.

((XD, smart one. I do that all the time. Stupid Kitti. *Kitti smacks head*.))

Greg stopped. "Who was your grandmother? My grandfather was Toby Cavanugh." Greg coughed and shook his head. "I don't think there is a way to get resorted. And, Slytherin is my house. I could never get resorted. I mean a house that had the Draco Malfoy?" He blushed a bright pink when Julie kissed him, then turned even darker as he realized he was blushing.

"My grandmother was Hermione Granger. She was friends with Harry Potter." Julie replied. She then noticed how he seemed so embarrased to be blushing, and laughed a little.

"Harry Potter?" Greg looked down, being a Slytherin and all. "Cool," he muttered, not looking up. His cheeks turned from a fuschia color to brick red once Julie started laughing.

Julie hugged him, and sighed, happily. It was like Romeo and Juliet... Her mind began to wander off to the time if and when they'd reveal their relationship. What would Grandma and Granddad Weasley think? They absolutely hated Slytherins... Great Uncle Harry might understand.

Greg's mind also began to wander. But, in both directions. Grandpa (Sorry, don't know Grandma at this second.) Would be fine. I mean, he was a Ravenclaw. He would understand. But his friends. Julie's friends. Greg gasped. Julie's grandparents! His relationship was doomed. He would date her, then boom-it's off. But, if he never dated her in the first place. . . . . . Greg's mind trailed off. "No!" He said aloud, firmly. "No!"

Julie looked up at him, astonished. "What?!" She said. "Are you alright?"

Greg blinked at her, and realized he had said "no" aloud. "I'm sorry," Greg said, moving closer to Julie, "I just was thinking, and I didn't mean to say that aloud."

Julie put on a smile. "What were you thinking about?" She asked, trying to be as calm and understanding as possible.
