Creative Writing discussion

This is the First poetry writing contest on the creative writing boards and i expect there to be a lot of entries.

There is only 1 entry per person, and if you would like information on how this will be judged please go up to the 'Contest Judging' thread.

Judging will be based on:

4.Word Choice/Grammar:
5.Voice:

If you win this contest with the highest vote, then you will get your name and entry's name in the Creative Writing Contest Winner Hall of Fame!


Rules for the first contest:

Restrictions:
*No using the word "The"
*No more than 8 words a line.
*No more than 25 lines.

Requirements:
*You must mention a persons name.
*You must mention a memory of the past.

and then he had just gone
A promise that was now
more like a rose
Beautiful but with its thorn

There was once a time
When i'd remeber your face
When everything was good
And everything was great

There's once a time when
i'd look at you
and think of days
when the sky was blue

But now those days are gone
and i think i must move on

But i can't stop now
Because everywhere i go is because of you
and every dream and thought
is somehow realated back to you
the more i keep trying to go forward
the more i keep trying to go back
and the more i keep trying
to do something else
the more i'd wish you just come back
