Baker Street Irregulars discussion

I am currently in the middle of this book. I am really enjoying it! It's the first non-Holmes Conan Doyle story I've read, really. It's influenced so many things. I keep on picturing "Up" while I read it, ha.

Now I am halfway through. I am still charmed by it but now... let's say the non-political correctness is starting to get to me a little. I don't think it's wrong, mind; it is just definately a product of the era. Just the same, I am really impressed by how Conan Doyle writes adventures. Now when I read the Sherlock Holmes stories I will really see them as "The Adventure of..." as opposed to "The Mystery of..." which I guess is the point anyway!
