Bio: Selkies are a type of fey also known as "seal women". They spend most of their lives in the sea in the shape of seals, but every ninth night they shed their skins and dance on the shore. If their skins are lost or stolen, they are stuck in their human form until they find them. Katie is very highly born, and her family made the decision that they would like her to get an education, so one ninth night a year ago her own mother stole her skin, hid it, and shipped her partway across the world to Mitico Criatura Academy. Katie misses her family and her true form very much. When she graduates, she will return to the sea, unless she falls in love on land. She speaks with a Scottish accent and sings beautifully.
