50 metre pool. Quite deep in the middle. Outdoors.

Lincoln walked in and took off his shirt. He dived in, staying under water for about 15 minutes before coming up, only to look at the scenery.

I flare my sings and drop like an arrow beside the pool. I strip to my silver bikini and jump in. I arrow through the water. My huge wings tucked in tight to my side.

Lincoln watches, unsurprised. He keeps his face smug. "Hey, schorlaship gi- I mean... Laura"

Laura
I keep swimming 'til I reach the end of the pool. When I reach there. In a show of strength I tak off straight up into the air. I shed water droplets, the glittered in the air. I cock my head at Lincoln."Hey snob."

Lincoln's black eyes don't show any emotion. "You were deloused before you got in the pool, yeah?"

Laura
I grin. "Oh sweety..." I shake my head sadly, seemly like I pity him. "You're gonna have to stop actin' like a girl if you want to have a chance here." I smirk.

"Such a trailer trash thing to say, Scholarship" Lincoln gave her a evil smile. "Now, if you don't mind, I will go... Have a snack, so to speak. Did you get that? Or do I have to speak hillbilly for you to understand?" He got up out of the pool and walked fluidly over to get his towel.

Laura
I smirk. "Would a hillbilly get a scholarship to one of the best schools around?" One corner of my mouth lifts up in a sly smile. I shoot down so I land infront of him. I land smoothly.

"You aren't just any hillbilly. Your the hillbilly. Anyway, some of us actually pay to be here"

Laura
"Who does? Your parents that you are too pussy to tell that you are a blood sucker?" I narrow my eyes.

Lincoln's eyes narrow, "Inbred slime! Get out of my way you filthy avian!"

Laura
I deliberately step closer. "I'm not avian. I'm an angel. Something completely unrelated." I smile, finally finding something that would hurt him.

Lincoln's fangs slide out of their own accord. "Listen to me very carefully, you think you deserve to be here, news flash, you don't. Your some sick PR experiment to make the Academy look good"

I cock my head, the words not fazing me at all. My head snaps to the splahsh and I shrug. Then I turn back to Lincoln and take another step forward. "You want to back your words up." I snarl. "I got into here for a reason, a good reason too."

Lincoln's lips turn up in a vicious smile. "Listen, let me put it this way, I come from the part of time where we go on school trips to Europe. You other hand, come from the area where kids get raped"

The memory of rough hands on me flash through my mind. I let out an anguished wail at the memory. My katanas are suddenly in my hands with nothing but a blur showing that I moved. They slash at him.

Lincoln ducks, just missing a blade. He gives a harsh, mocking laugh. THen ducks around Laura again, and gets his towel.

I drop into an offensive crouch. "Would you like to see why I'm here?" I snarl.

Lincoln smiles happily "No, not really, besides, father wants me to Skype" He eyes her critically, "You know what that is, yeah?"

Laura
I raise my head hautily. "Of course."

"You have a computer? A Windows one, of course. Unless your so cheap you have to use... Linux?"

Raven walks into the pool yard.

I cock my head. "I've got a Macbook Pro and an iPad 2. Both are running on OS10." I smirk.

Delaney walked over to the pool in her bikini and short short. She sat at the waters edge

Lincoln's head snapped to Delaney. He gave her a mischievous grin and walked over to her. "Hey, cutie"

She looked at him, her blonde hair swaying softly in the soft breeze "you talking to me?" she asked, no one had ever called her 'cutie' before

Lincoln looked around, "Who else?" He smiled at her smoothly.

She smiled "hi" she swished her legs in the water

He sat down next to her "You new to the academy?"

I watch with morose eyes. I let out an involitary gasp of pain as the memory that Lincoln had brought up smashes through me again((You get what I meant... :D. Oh and Francois, our charries should end up being friends... ))

Lincoln barely notices Laura. He smiles at Delaney. "Welcome"

She smiled "thanks" she dropped into the water and surfaced a minute later

He smiled at her again and got back in the water. "So... I know this great restaurant in town... Well... Would you like to come? As a welcome present?"

She nodded and smiled "sure, sounds great"

I shrug it off. Then glare at Lincoln. The predudiced prick...

Lincoln smiles at Laura and turns to Delaney. "It's nearly lunch. I think we better go..."

She climbed out of the pool "just let me get changed" she walked to the change room and came out with jeans a off the shoulder top and thigh-high boots. "ready" she smiled

I walk back over to the pool and sit down heavily.
