Charlie was super nervous as he heard Hagrid calling "All first yers, come this way plesh!"

As soon as Marie stepped off of the Hogwarts Express a jolt of excitement surged through her. After a long, and very dull summer she was finally back to the world of magic. She sighed.
The cold fall wind blew her thin blonde hair in her face. It was much colder here than in London, wherever Hogwarts was. Pulling her robes up to keep her warm, she quietly followed the familiar faces of her fellow Ravenclaw students up to the glistening castle.

Lisa stepped out of the Hogwarts Express with her friends ready for another year at Hogwarts

Marie passed groups of frilly girls, talking rapidly, and catching up with their friends after the summer holiday. She really wished that one day she would have the guts to actually make friends with some of the students here, but her shyness always got the best of her whenever someone talked to her.

Lisa laughed with her Ravenclaw friends. She was excited to get back.

After the long trip up to the castle, Marie headed to the Great Hall for the "Welcome Back to School" feast, and the sorting ceremony. This was definately her favorite part of arriving. It didn't feel like only three years ago was her very first day at Hogwarts. Time sure was passing quickly.
Once she arrived at the Great Hall, she took her normal seat in the back at the Ravenclaw table. Even though Marie wasn't known to be lonely, she sure looked it now.

Lisa sat down with her friends and said "Hello" to everybody else. She loved the sorting

Lisa saw the Grey Lady and she waved to her

Rick and Kithro walked into the Great Hall. Rick looked around nervously, wondering what the new horses were doing pulling the carriages.
"well, I'll be off to the Gryffindor table!," Kithro said,"see ya later!" and went off to meet the other Gryffindors.
Rick jumped and said,"see ya..." and wandered off towards the Ravenclaw table.
((when does sorting start? Who wants to speak for Dumbledore?))

Skylar entered the great hall when she spotted kithro. ((Both of them are 4th year gryffindors))

She plopped down next to him and asked "where is gryffith?"

She never got the answer cause dumbledores voice raised.

"Welcome students, back to the place you will call home for the next few months. Before the sorting begins I'd like to say a few words of wisdom. duck, mitch, numb, tish."

The sorting ended quickly and dumbledore spoke up again " As a quick reminder to student coming back and to the first years, the forbidden forest is off limits. Also do not step foot into the 8th floor near the divinations tower. Let the feast begin!"

((Gryffindor))
"I dunno where he is..." Kithro said while piling food on his plate,"wanna check out why we can't go by the Divination tower later?"

((are we doing the thing where we put house names of the people before the comment?))

"from who???" asked skylar.

"We can't exactly ask trealweny, unless you want to hear a prediction on how you're going to die"

Lisa smiled and welcomed the new kids. She ate the yummy food while talking and catching up with her friends

Kate entered. She walked over to the ravenclaw table and searched for Lisa, knowing lisa she was probably welcoming the first years. But soon she spotted her. Kate realized she was late and had missed the sorting.

She plopped down and sat next to Lisa. "So hows summer been???"

(Skylar)Skylar spotted Kate when she entered. But it was too late now. Kate was already eating with Lisa. But maybee ...

(Lisa)Lisa had just jumped off her seat to go search for rick, Kate wasn't in the mood yet. Something seemed to upset her... Then boom. Lisa had triped over Skylars foot and fallen on Kate. Ugh, that Skylar. Lisa didn't like her very much.


(Skylar.) It was done. but Lisa was still cross at Skylar even though Skylaar had apologized dozens of times.

The Sorting and delicious feast went by in a blur in Marie's head. Soon enough, after rounds of getting more food, it was time to go to the common room, and prepare for bed.
Marie got up to leave, but being the clumsy person she is, bumped into Rick, who was casually walking by.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, while her face flushed a dark red.

Kithro sighed. This girl obviously didn't know him well. "not by asking, silly! Haha that sounded girly. Oh well. We find out by going up there!"

Rick jumped as Marie bumped into him. After she apologised, he said,"it's all right!" and then noticed Lisa looking for him. Being a shy person, he didn't say anything. But in case she really needed him, he turned and looked over at her, faking yawning.

Lisa saw Rick and pushed her way though Ravenclaws. "Rick! Hello! How was your summer?"

"Hiya!"Rick said,"It was fun. Lots of magic." He grinned. "Were you trying to find me earlier?"

"Yah, I was wondering if you would care to eat with me and Kate?" asked Lisa.

"ok, where are you sitting?" Rick smiled. The friend he would usually eat with was in Gryffindor, and only sometimes came and ate with the Ravenclaws.

((but the gryffindor dude cant dot that. dont you ahve to eat at your house table))

"At the end. Come on. Before dessert comes"

((YOu can't eat with gryffindor plus you are already friends with us because you were friends with us during our 1st and 2nd and 3rd year.))

Kate glanced over the note that had fallen into her hands and threw it away.

As she spotted rick and lisa coming over she quickly slipped away, into the vacant room in the 1st corridor hallway which was next to the great hall.

When she came back she sat down next to her friends, she told them that she had run to the bathroom.

Skylar came back and slid into the spot next to Kithro.

"Hey, where's Gryffth? It's notlike her to be this late."

(She was hoping he wouldn't answer this witha "where were you?")

There was a rule at hogwarts that students can arrive at anytime before the end of the first meal. :)

But even since the rule had been placed, gryffth had always managed to be the first one here.

The 5th year next to her was going on and on about quidditch try outs. Skylar had tried out for quidditch last year and actually made the team as a seeker. She didn't know if that made her a seeker this year or not though.

Skylar wiated for Kithro to answer afer he finished chewing.

While Lisa and Rick were blabbering on about quidditch tryouts.

Kate had actually made the team as a seeker last year (her 3rd year). Her 2nd game, against gryffindorand Skylar had caught the snitch before her.

All the ravenclaws tought she had cheated because she knocked Kate off her broom. This really was an accident and Kate had also been not holding on to the broom tightly so no one else took it that seriously.

This is the 1st thing that had caused the tension between Kate and Skylar. And there were many more of course ...

((oh btw, Kithro and Skylar are enemies with Kate, Lisa, and Rick. :) ))

"Hello Kate!" Rick said happily,"are you trying out for quidditch this year? I've never been on the team, but I've played at home. I'm thinking about trying out for Seeker."

"Oh nothing, mcgonagall just stopped me to talk about quidditch, she seems anxious on winning the cup this year, last year was such a close miss." after a pause she said "do you think because of the fact we were on the team last year that we will be on the tam this year, or do we have to try out again?"

Then she immediatley regretted saying it, because it was so rude and had probably crushed him. she added

"sorry I was so rude, it's just I can't stand skylar. It was so obvious she had cheated. But I betyou'd make a great chaser or keeper. You've got faster hands then anybody I know. :)"

How can I be so clumsy? Marie thought. It was only the 1st day back and she'd embarrassed herself already.
"Umm......Well bye, Rick" she said quietly, then hurried up to the common room.

"Hey, clam down you two. You can both try out again. One of you might make. I have already talked to Profeseor Flitwick and he said I could be comantator for all teams," said Lisa

"well of course we'll have to try out again!" Kithro laughed,“We'll just have a better chance of getting onto the team."

Rick was a little shocked at what Kate had said at first. "it's alright!" he sighed,"I wasn't much of a Quidditch fan last year. I watched Kithro a bit, so I didn't know. I'll try out for Keeper! Second choice." he was about to joke about impeding for the position, but decided not to. Didn't want to cause any trouble.

"Rick if you want to, Kate I hope wouldn't mind, you could try out for seeker again," said Lisa

When Marie got up to her dorm, she bathed and began getting ready for bed. Nobody else was in the room yet, so she had some time to herself before the swarm of 4th year girls came in. She went over to a mirror, and began combing her long, blonde hair. Doing this always reminded her of when her mother used to brush it before bedtime, but it also made her homesick.

Lisa took some ice cream and added whipped cream. A lot of it

Rick yawned. "Well I'll be off to bed!" he said cheerfully,"see you at breakfast!"
