I'm not sure what to do for my fundraisers so I'm accepting all the ideas I can get! Also, this is tax deductible so if anyone is looking for a charity to donate to I would greatly appreciate your contribution!

Okay, new info. Apparently sponsors is a way to do in. In short, I write a letter to McDonalds, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. and ask for them to contribute. My friend has already gotten a couple hundred from McDonalds, Home Depot, and Artic Circle. I still need to find out a little more info abou it but if you have any suggestions of places who I could ask... :)

A quick way to fundraising I have found is to make a cute little craft project, moderate price, and go to a neighborhood where great-grandmothers'/grandfathers' live.

aqua | 12 comments that works I guess becuz there isn't the pressure of being parents on them and they like children. have u checked the internet? maybe there's some kind of website with all the info u need.

message 5: by KatieG (new)

KatieG | 1 comments if you're good at making sweets, try and have a bakesale at your school. You would have to ask the school board first, but it's still worth a try.
Also, try going to more home town businesses too. If they like what your trying to earn the money for, they might donate, although not as much, but at least you can walk around instead of having to drive the whole time.
I hope this helps, good luck! :)

Thanks guys! Actually I found out today that there is a spatland website (www.spatland.org) and there are some fundraisers our school is doing but I'm not sure how much it will bring in for me personally.

message 7: by Kara (new)

message 14: by aqua (new)

aqua | 12 comments if any of ur friends need the money for the trip also or if they're willing to help then you could set up some kind of activity...maybe a mini version of the olympics where they can compete or watch and pay an admission fee?\

or maybe you can talk to your principal and they'll let you and some friends run an after school program like arts and crafts or private lessons.....

message 15: by Soon-yiHearto (new)

message 22: by aqua (new)

aqua | 12 comments that could work! in 3rd grade we had to practice selling stuff so my mom and I made some origami stuff that we sold for "bear bucks"

I got a handamde card set with cardstock and templates to make real life looking cards! see if you can get some kind of kit or something and make and sell.

message 23: by aqua (new)

aqua | 12 comments w8....jel? ur mom works for bp right?

message 24: by Riley (new)

Riley (booksarecool) Carnivals are good ideas, and since it's getting close to Halloween, make a haunted house and charge admission, you can advertise by radio or newspaper or whatever you can think of. Do you have a farmer's market? Or a local craft fair? 'cause you can make something and sell it there.
Again, since it's close to Halloween, you could make candy and sell that.
You could make an art gallery, maybe sell refreshments there, and you could play some music. People can buy your artwork, your refreshments, and maybe donate if they like the music/artwork.
I like the concert idea.

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) | 3 comments since it's close 2 halloween, while ur trick-or-treating, u could ask 4 some small donation, and leave a donation box outside ur house 2, although i doubt u'll earn very much that way...baby-sitting is also a very popular way of getting money...hope this helps...

message 32: by ♥ Rachel♥ (new)

♥ Rachel♥ (i_got_a_jar_of_dirt) | 3 comments SCHOOL DANCE!!! u can organize a school dance, and have there b a small fee (couple of dollars is how much it costs @ my middle school...). ppl like dances, i bet u could get a ton of money that way!!!
