Mike | 12 comments I stumbled upon this site earlier this month and let it be a catalyst to start reading again. Trying to think of all the books I've read is already proving to be enough challenge so here I'll just start anew. Only books I've read since joining GR count for me.

Mike | 12 comments Here is what I've read so far The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1) by Stieg Larsson , The Girl Who Played with Fire (Millennium, #2) by Stieg Larsson and now I'm reading The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (Millennium, #3) by Stieg Larsson . So I'm a pop-lit fan, eh? Idk but I'm gonna give Harry Potter or Twilight their chance next. Somehow I don't see myself getting through either of those series. But who knows, I didn't figure I'd like these Larsson books either.

Mike | 12 comments Just finished The Hacker's Underground Handbook by David Melnichuk . Nice little primer.

@Meghan and Zakia, Thanks for the comedic appreciation. It was much appreciated. I think yall should read that book though. It'll take you less than 15 minutes to read and you might find out we have differing opinions on what sucks ass, which you would appreciate.

Zakiya LadyWings (zladywings) LOL! I might actually read it, Mike. All depends on if I can get it on my Kindle :).

Mike | 12 comments Ugh, I have this habit of reading a few books and then not reading anymore books for many months, and that foul spectre has struck again. To get off the schnide I read The Illustrated Guide to Free Hugs by Juan Mann . Very nice little read, made me feel good and smiley.
Since I gotta keep this ball rollin I've gotten a few dozen pages into Fanny Hill, or Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure by John Cleland . This book is considered to be the first English pornographic novel. That and the style of writing from back then (1748) have made for a challenging but enjoyable read so far.
