Feel free to post any freebies or deals you find out there in the world wide web. It doesn't necessarily have to be contained to HF since our members tend to enjoy all kinds of genres.

I've posted a free historical read over on Archive of Our Own here - http://archiveofourown.org/works/209889 Although it's a fan fiction site, this piece can be read as an original story. Here's the description:It is 700 ad and the world lies in ruin, the Dark Ages come to life. The Roman Empire has crumbled into something altogether new, medieval Europe, hanging on to the remnants of Roman civilization while being shaped by the church.
In this land of relics and shrines knight Jensen of Ackerley wanders grief-stricken and purposeless until he takes on the challenge of guiding Lady Alona on a pilgrimage. Accompanied by the orphaned street thief Tristan of Jare, they travel from France to Rome to the center of the world - Jerusalem - across the glittering Mediterranean, facing dangers of the body and soul, the heart and mind.
I'd love to hear your feedback if you decide to read it!
ps - forgot to mention that A03 has a wonderful download feature in the upper right hand corner which is especially nice if you have an ereader.

Cyber Monday - THE HUGUENOT SWORD - Christian historical fiction - on sale 99 Cents - Kindle & Nook.
For faith, for friendship, for freedom.
In the time of Louis XIII and Cardinal Richelieu, when being a Protestant could mean death, The Huguenot Sword roamed the streets of Paris by night, defending those faithful to the young heretical religion. The nobility scorned them as ruffians. To the oppressed Protestants they were saviors, but to the Cardinal’s Guards they were a pestilence needing to be terminated.
The situation becomes desperate when those in power launch a bold plan to destroy the group. One wrong move can be fatal. But the ordeal of Paris pales in comparison to the possible annihilation of the faith and people at the Battle of La Rochelle.
