Read as a young girl in the hay fields. A persian cat that told the story. Old old house with a ghost in the attic and two kids. Will try to remember more, but it has been nagging me lately and I would Love to re-read it.

OMG OMG I have been trying to remember this book now for the last 4-5 years. I cannot believe I post a "what's the name of that book??" question and get an answer in a few hours.
