Yep I've read all of them. The back story is that Kitty is a were, but she was turned against her will. The novels, especially the early ones, revolve around her voyage of self discovery, wherein Kitty realises she doesn't need to remain a submissive wolf in an abusive pack or be bound by her unfortunate history.. So there is a twist to the normal were=superhero narrative. At the beginning of the series, weres haven't been revealed to the majority of the human population either, so as a presenter of a late night talk show, Kitty suddenly finds herself in a position to change things. The books are a fast read with some humour and are a good YA paranormal to adult UF transition. Better than the average YA paranormal, but if you are into complex storylines Kitty, ultimately, may not deliver. Vaughn creates some great characters then, frustratingly, doesn't seem sure what to do with them. Having said all of that I will read the next book, albeit from the library- one can always hope and some of her characters are endearing.
If you love weres and are looking for a likeable heroine and fast read, it's probably worth a shot- certainly by the end of the first 3, you'll know if this is your thing.
