I have an idea, can the Doctor be a woman? I argue about this all the time with my sis and my friends. Personally, I don't think he should regenerate into a woman. However, I could accept an alternate universe where the Doctor is a woman. In this universe, as it is now, making the Doctor suddenly transform into a woman would completely change the character.
