((Too bad no one else is rp-ing this... I think this could be fun! ^^))Saniya prowled by the camp's borders in wolf form, eying the enemies ((well, enemies to her)) with a hostile stare.
Takoda stood by the campfire and listened as an elder spoke to the ghost."What do you forsee, old one?" asked an elder in a whisper.
There was a pause. "I see a danger to the people of this land. It comes in the form of a man, yet they are different from us, from you. You will not be able to defeat them alone. The clans must unite to defeat this evil. If you fail, then you will meet your end." the ghost muttered slowly and softly. Then, the fire cracked. The ghost wavered and disappeared.
Saniya narrowed her eyes. Interesting, she thought to herself. ((I'VE AN IDEA! What do you think:
Saniya's roaming the woods when she spots an EVIL WHITE MAN! She approaches him and he thinks she's dangerous, so he shoots her. But he doesn't kill her, just hurts her. She goes off into the woods where maybe Takoda finds her? He takes her to his clan healer and in turn she tells them of the EVIL WHITE MEN! And etc, etc, etc.))
(("What do you see, my child?" Mother Willow shouted up to Pocahontas. Pocahontas said in awe, ".....Strange clouds..."))
Takoda walked off once the ghost was gone. He frowned, slightly troubled by the bad omen it had given. He passed Laika as he walked slowly towards the river near the camp.
Saniya rolled her eyes at the prophecy. Probably just a bunch of hoo-doo, she thought. Saniya shook her head and walked back off into the forest. Deciding to wander a little, Saniya headed towards the river. She was also a little thirsty. As Saniya approached, she heard some voices. Is another clan here? I thought they were all in the woods, Saniya said to herself.
Takoda let himself morph. He nose grew into a snout and he shrunk down. He now walked on all fours and then, he was a wolf. He waited for Laika to follow him to the forest.
Laika concentrated on letting herself change. it was a bit difficult but she turned into a wolf. She barked to let Takoda she was ready.
Takoda turned to her. "Now, you need to weave through the trees. It is hard to be silent, but I'm sure you can handle that."
Laika nodded. She tried to weave through the trees but she kept forgetting to look out for the roots. he paw caught on one and she tripped.
Laika nodded. She breathed in the scents of the forest and let the energy flow through her. She tried weaving through the trees again and this time she made it through successfully.
Takoda nodded his approval, then weaved his way after her. "Very good. Now you need to try on some prey."
Laika sniffed the air for scents of prey. She could smell a rabbit nearby. She weaved through the trees and ponced on the rabbit, killing it with a bite.
Takoda was impressed by how quick she was catching on, but didn't show it. "What we need to track is a lone deer."
Takoda cocked his head as he thought. "Perhaps it is nothing. We'll see what it is before we do anything."
Takoda nodded back, then began sniffing for that smell again. When he found a stronger scent, he started quietly padding forward.
The smell was the sharp smell of gunpowder. Saniya had ventured to the riverside to investigate and had happened upon strange men with milky hides. But, seeing her, one of them had aimed a funky-looking stick at her. The next thing she knew, Saniya was blinded by pain and had ran into the forest with a howl. Then men chased her as she ran without seeing where she was going, as fast as she could.
Takoda's ears swiveled as he heard a crack and the howl. He briefly glanced back to see if Laika was following, then speed even faster in the direction he heard it from.
Saniya sprinted even swifter than she'd ever dashed before. Soon, the angry shouts of the men behind her was lost as she outran them in the undergrowth. Too tired and spent to continue any farther, Saniya lay down, exhausted and bleeding from where the white man had shot her upper right chest where it met her shoulder.
Takoda slowed down and sniff the air. He smelled the other wolf. He stopped at the edge of a small clearing and listened to its frantic breaths.((Is there anything else wrong with her?))
((They find her as a wolf and think she's just a wolf. Saniya can't morph back into a human yet because the gunshot has caused so much pain that she can't focus enough to change back. NO ONE ELSE knows she's really a werewolf and not a normal wolf until she reveals herself once she's healed. I think the healing process should take a while so that she can sort of become friends with Takoda, but with her as a wolf. She becomes so used to being a wolf that she almost forgets she's a human for a bit until she does remember and almost runs off but then she repays they're kindness by warning them about the white men.))Saniya's vision blurred with darkness at the edges. Her breaths were short and shallow. This is the end, she thought to herself.
