Peacefully walking
Playing
And talking
Swinging back
Laughing
And attacking
You’ll never
Know
How much
I
Miss those
Days
We spent
Peacefully walking
Playing
And talking
Courageous pretending
Ending
And mending
And when
You
Came back
We
Had so
Much
Fun until
That
Cold wintery
Day
You left
Again
You might
End
Up knowing
Maybe
One day
How
I miss
Those
Days we
Spent
Together
It seems
You
Left forever
But I
Know
You too
Well to
Think
That’s true
Someday you’ll
Be
Back again
The fun
Is
More than
Memories
It’s like
A
Life we
Both
Want back
And our
Friendship
Won’t end
Because
Of the
Land
The separates
Us
And someday
Again
You and I
Will
Be back
Peacefully walking
Playing
And talking
Together

Wordcount: 43
Silent breezes ruffle
My sun bleached locks.
Condensation covers
My shimmering martini glass.
Hot sand shifts
Around my painted toes.
Gentle waves echo
On the water stained shore.
Loving words whispered
In my listening ear.
Claims of paradise,
I know they lay here.

Word count: 193 approx.
The dampness is less
but shivers are more
as she stands in a mess
while dying under the downpour.
She could sleep there, but then
she decides to take to the road.
So but and then again
she walks down the road.
The road-less-travelled-by is nothing
but a road that is less-travelled-by.
There is no summer autumn winter or spring.
And everything's gone by in a blink of an eye.
A swallow sings as farther she walks,
away from this that and them she goes.
It seems too quiet and so she talks
but then she stops so now she woes
over what so clearly she cannot see.
So but and then now,
she arrives at the place she wanted to go.
Sit by the pond, laugh by the trees,
pick a flower, buzzing bees.
It's peaceful here--
serene calm placid--
unlike there.
There's a flower somewhere here,
and so she picks it, smells it, twirls it.
Petals soft, leaves anew, life's near.
What a shame.
