Kiki stood at the gates of the King Fairy's palace. "Lets do this." She closed her eyes and slid on her hood. She hid her wings and walked though.
"Hault!" A guard shouted. "Who leaves the castle?"
She lied, "tis I, a fair maid, visiting home."
The guard eyed her. "How long?"
"One week," she lied.
"Go," said he.
Kiki slowly walked away, then quickened her pace. She tore off the awful coat and let her wings open. She was free.
