4 Stars. Odd. Dark. Creepy. Unique. Brilliant.

Just Like Tomorrow
Both 2 1/2 Stars. Just averagely good.

I loved Perfume-very creepy. And, as you say, brilliant.

I watched the trailer. It looks intensely creepy! I'm not sure if I want to watch it or not. What I liked about the book was the quality of writing more so than the plot.

And it did win awards - European Film Awards, Germany Film Awards, and Bavarian Film Awards. And it was nominated for others - Saturn Awards and People's Choice.

Question about Perfume, for those who have read it...

(view spoiler)[What do you think was the point of the Cave Section? It was such an unpleasant part of the book, and I felt that it was only plot advancement so there'd be a reason for him to meet the Harry Higgins dude. This question has been bugging me since I finished it. (hide spoiler)]

Oh man HRO-now I have to go re-read Perfume: The Story of a Murderer-I can't really remember that section in any detail!
