The staircases lead to the seperate dorms of the girls and boys.

Rose Weasley walked in with her owl and sat down on a chair by the fireplace.

Skylar, exhausted from the feast plopped down on the couch near the fireplace. She spotted a girl sitting by herself and said "hi"

"Hey." Rose said with a smile.

"What's your name?"

"Rose. Rose Weasley."

"The name sound familiar. Are you a first year?"

Just then James walked in, he said "Hey Skylar"

and Skylar replied "Hey where's the group of innocent minions you've trained to follow you around?"

His response was "Hey1 Shut up. I didn't train them, first years just naturally follow me around cuz I'm potters son and all. Kinda annoying. Have you seen anybody else?"

Skylar said "Nope, but this is rose, meet rose, rose meet James."

James said "hey Rose, Skylar I alredy know her, she's my cousing."

Rose chuckled. "Hey James." She punched him playfully in the shoulder.

"Heey, stay off the shoulders" sarcastically warned james.

Skylar cuckled "James ..."

Rose rolled her eyes.

James said, I think I'll go to the dorms now"

"Good riddance" said skylar.

"Heey" said james"

"Just kidding" said skylar"

"Well bye now" and he strode up the stairs.

Kara walked in she had no Idea were she was going Nyra screeched on her shoulder.

No one was there so she sat down and waited.

Sean Tonks got back after a long day of classes. With a huge stack of homework, he sat in one of the chairs by the fire. He didn't notice Kara. He read his first assignment, something to do with Charms and had no idea what to do.

Rose looked over at Sean and couldn't help but giggle at his perplexed expression.

Sean heard her giggle and looked over, noticing her. He walked over but didn't introduce himself.

Rose looked down, embarrassed.

"So, uh what's you're name?" Sean asked her, feeling really akward.

"I'm Rose. Rose Weasley. You are?"

"Weasley? That explains your hair. I'm Sean Tonks." He didn't mean the red hair thing in a mean way.

Rose giggled,"Its a family trait. Related to Nymphadora?"

"Yeah, I'm her half brother. I don't know her or anything." Tonks had died a year before he'd been born. "I know Teddy though."

Rose smiled,"what year are you?"

"Uh, 5th. What about you?" He looked nervous.

"6th. You play Quidditch?"

Yeah, I'm a chaser. Do you play soccer? And who else is on the team?" He asked her.

Skylar was waiting for *breyns charrie* to show up.

"I'm a chaser too. Skylars the other chaser."

"Who's captain?" Sean was curious.

"I'm not sure who's captain this year."

"Oh... Hopefully we will soon. When's practice?" He was sick of homework.

"Next week sometime."

Then skylar spotted rose talking with sean and since she was quite bored decided to cut in.

"Hey heard you were talking about quidditch. Sorry but you guys no I can't resist that. I was wondering that to, the old captain graduated, I was hoping it was either you or quinn, rose."

Rose smiled,"thanks."

"Honestly, your old enough and you'd be great. But I hope slytherin doesn't win again this year. An we haven't won in 12 years. It's pretty devastating"

((Rose is head girl, right??))

"Don't remind me." She said with a frown.

"Don't worry, I'm not sure if we'll win the cup this year but ravenclaw does eem to have a few good people"

"Ravenclaw always seems to have good people, they usually beat Hufflepuff but nobody else."

((if rose is head girl, do you know what the dorm looks like yet? Sorry, I'm just kinda curious.))

"They've beaten us a few times too. But I hope we have a good team this year"

"We will." She said.

"I sure hope so" then feeling a sudden pang of tiredness wash over her, skylar added "I think U'm gonna go to bed now" and strode smoothly away.

"Do you mind helping with this?" Sean showed her the charms homework. "I kind of suck at charms."

Rose smiled,"Sure, what are you working on?"

"I'm not sure." Sean showed her the homework.

"Simple, your just writing the countercurse. For example, Colloportus is the counter of Alohamora."

"Uh, so what's the counter curse of Petrificus Totalus? I'm hopeless." Sean asked her.

"There's three. Rennervate, Finite or Finite Incantatem."
