Rather than go to his common room Daniel walked into the library intending on checking out a few books to get ahead in his schoolwork.

Celeste entered the library.

Celeste sighed, "Ta-da. Library" She smiled before walking off to find a book to read.

Celeste frowned finding Jake, "I'm gonna go to the great hall for the welcome back feast."

Erik walked into the library.

Daniel looked up and spotted a younger student walking over he smiled, "Hey, I'm Daniel."

"Hey, I'm Erik."

"What year are you?" He raised a brow curious.

"6th. You?"

"7th, my last year at Hogwarts." He sighed sadly.

"I'll be there next year. Kinda stinks doesn't it."

Daniel nodded, "It stinks knowing that you'll most likely never be back." He shrugged, "I guess it's okay though, I mean I'll get to move on in life and work for the Ministrey or something."

"You want to work for the ministry?" Erik smiled.

Daniel smirked, "Yes, why?"

"Nothin." Erik chuckled.

"No your chuckling, why?" He raised a brow curious.

"Nothing. I promise."

Daniel nodded, "So why aren't you at the feast?"

"I left early, ate all I could."

"Ahhh, Smart." Daniel nodded picking up a book off the shelf and flipping it open, turning a few pages before putting it back.

"Besides, a little extra studying can't hurt."

Daniel smirked, "Studying before you even get homework? You're Ravenclaw."

Erik laughed,"Yeah, I guess Ravenclaw fits me."

"So what are you plans after you graduate Hogwarts? Gonna become a teacher?" He raised a brow turning to look at the guy, curious.

"I don't know." Erik said. "I want to be an Auror but if I don't qualify for that, I want to play Quidditch."

"Quidditch? You on your team? It helps when your on the house team." Daniel nodded.

"Yeah, I'm the seeker."

"That's good, helps to get you noticed more by proffesional teams, so why don't you qualify to be an Auror?"

"Well, you have to make really good grades on your N.E.W.T.S."

Daniel shrugged, "So? You can do it, can't you? Just study."

"I hope that's all it takes."

"You'll be fine, the N.E.W.T.S aren't as bad as everyone makes them seem." Daniel smirked.

Erik smiled,"I hope so."

Daniel shrugged, "Just remember to have alittle fun, too, Ravenclaw."

Erik chuckled,"I'll try to remember it. What house are you?"

"Slytherin," Daniel shrugged, "Do I seem Slytherin like?"

"No. Wow." He said with a chuckle.

"Hmm what am I too friendly to be sneaky and cunning, because I can assure you, I am very cunning." He chuckled.

Erik chuckled,"Well, you have to be if your in Slytherin. Don't ya." He said with a smile.

Daniel shrugged, "That and you have to be incredibly entertaining."

Erik smiled,"That's why I'm not in Ravenclaw."

Daniel smirked, "I think your fairly entertaining."

Erik chuckled,"Your the first."

Daniel raised a brow, "Perhaps I'm the first person you've ever truely entertained? Rather than the first to find you entertaining."

Erik smiled,"That must be it."

"Yeah, I thought so." He shrugged sitting down at a table.

Erik closed his book.

Daniel looked up, "So Erik, where are all your friends?"
