That took you 30min? lol Alright. Go ahead and start.
Luke was walking down the sidewalk and saw Kat. "What are you reading?" he said with a smile.
"That's a great book. I think it was one of his best. I'm Luke."
"Nice to meet you. It's nice to see somebody reading these days. Most girls would rather text or watch TV."
"How so?" he said with a gleam in his eye.
"You are very right. Why are people so materialistic? There is a whole world out there that we can explore instead of tabloids and mindless chatting." Luke had a big smile on his face.
"I don't normally do this but we just have so much in common." Luke looked at the ground and glanced back at this beautiful girl. "Would you like to go on a date with me tonight?"
((I have to go to sleep! Sorry, goodnight ))
Luke wrote a number on a slip of paper. "I have to go right now, but here is my number. Call in a hour or two and we can talk more, I'm sorry I have to go but I promised a friend." He smiled with a look of concern. He was worried things wouldn't work out.
Luke left with a nervous wave and walked fast down the sidewalk.
Luke met his friend john and helped him put up dry wall at his new house. They worked for an hour and were almost finished. John pregnant wife came in with two glasses of ice water. "Here you go boys" "Thank you" said luke "Thanks hun" said john. Then she left. Later Luke looked up at at John and said,"John, I met this wonderful girl today."
"Oh really, what's her name?"
"Kat"
"nice name." John said with a smile.
"Yeah but shes different. I asked her on a date tonight."
"Wow! Luke, that doesn't sound like you."
"I know" Luke said with a smile.
Luke and John had finished the walls. "Well that baby is going to have a nice room. I'll come over another day and help you paint." said Luke"Thanks man I really appreciate it, when is this sexy lady gunna give you a call?" John said with a wink.
Luke laughed and his phone rang. "Looks like this might be her."
((sorry :( I was sick))"Oh, hey! How are you? Finish that book?"
"My friend John and I finished putting up his dry wall for his new house. It was hard work haha. So, do you have any place in mind you would like to eat at?"
"Great, I know a place called two sticks. You know it?"
"Well how about I pick you up in a bit and we go eat there?"
((kinda lol))Luke drove to the parking lot and walked down the sidewalk where he had met Kat earlier.
Luke saw her walking towards the tree as he was and he smiled. She was so graceful. "Hey Kat, you look, wonderful." Luke said nervously.
They walked to his car and he opened the door for her to take a seat. Luke drove to the sushi bar and parked the car. They got a table and sat down. "What would you like to sir?" asked the waiter Luke looked at Kat and then at the waiter. "Some hot sake for the two of us please."
After the waiter left Luke looked at Kat. "So tell me more about yourself."
"Anything and everything haha" Luke said with a smooth calm voice.
"What kind of music do you like?"(Nice to know, same here :D)
(that's fine with me)"I see." The waiter gave them their hot sake. (even though she was 17 LOL) and Luke poured Kat a shot and himself one.
"Me either. I train a lot so i couldn't even if I wanted to."(I seem to be using alot of my personality. To be fair :P)
"I like to fight. I train in many different martial arts. It's one of my passions."
"Eating! haha and... riding my motorcycle." he said. Pinching his leather jacket with each hand to show."What about you?"
"Interesting. I hope I meet your expectations since you write romance." Luke said with a smile.
"Except in your romance right?" he said with a wink
