John Bullock (beagrie) | 2 comments If you could have wrote anything from any point in time, what would it be and why?

For example; "I would have wrote 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone,' because, if I had, I'd be rich."

Or; "I would have wrote anything by Shakespeare, because then my work would have been the inspiration for countless other works."

And so on. Personally, I would have wrote Lord of the Rings because, in my opinion, no other works have had such a big impact on the fantasy genre (my preferred genre).

I sometimes think about the places I would have loved to be a fly on the wall, soaking up the inspiration from other writers. Then I look around our twitter group and I feel pretty lucky to be where I am right now. This is such a fascinating time to be a writer. I like where I am and what I've written. Is that weird?

Patricia Lynne (pjlauthor) I don't think it's weird, Johanna. I can't think of any book I wish I had written. I'm content with being the reader of them. Maybe it's because the books I love are inspiration to my own writing. I want to make people happy they read them too.

Shireen (shireenj) | 3 comments I agree with Patricia, Johanna, I don't think it's weird either. It's a good way to live one's life too. :)

I can't think of any book I wish I'd written... I can think of plenty I'm impressed with and thought I couldn't do that though.
