Michael I recently bought this book from a charity shop (impulse buy) and then saw the reviews on GR were rather mixed. It'll probably be a while before I get around to it, but what do you all think of it - without spoilers, thanks :-D

Jim (jimmaclachlan) | 979 comments It's not one of his best. It's actually a bit pedestrian, but I still enjoyed it very much. It's a good SF action mystery. Doorways in the Sand & Today We Choose Faces are the same genre & better, IMO. Come to think of it, it might be a better introduction to his work than the other two. They can be a bit confusing for a first read since they skip around in time a fair amount.

Michael Thanks, Jim. It's not high on the reading list, but at least it will stay on there.
