Spottednose padded into River Clan's camp and towards her den. She dropped off a small pile of poppy seeds she had gathered and then went outside.

Rainshadow sniffed her way around the freshkill pile, searching for anything that was even remotely fresh. Surely hunting patrols had been sent out by now? If they had, they had yet to return, and she noted with slight disappointment that most of the food was stale. And stale fish was not something she thought to be a very appetising breakfast. StarClan, she thought to herself, shaking her head in exasperation, am I the only one around here who eats or something?

With what could be considered an overdramatic sigh, she bounded to the Warriors Den. It looked like if she wanted something to eat, she was going to have to go out and get it herself, but there was no way she was going out alone. Somebody had to come with her to annoy. She stuck her head inside the Den, playfully rolling her eyes at the lumps of sleeping fur that were scattered around the place. "C'mon, fluffballs," she meowed, perhaps a bit too loudly than she needed to, "drag your butts out of your nest and come hunting."

Spottednose had gone back inside her den where she was sorting the poppy seeds. "20,21,22,23"she muttered under her breath as she counted. Finally Spottednose finished counting, having 30 seeds. "I really need a apprentice"she muttered to heerself as she headed towards the opening of the den. Spottednose was known for talking to herself too. She padded outside and looked around

Dovestar awoke in the morning to sunlight in her eyes. Squinting, she stood and stretched out her paws in front of her, leaning back on her haunches and stretching her belly. Yawning, she padded from her den to see that Rainshadow was already up and getting everyone else up as well. "Thanks, Rainshadow!"

Spottednose saw Dawnstar and raced over. "Good morning Dawnstar"Spottednose said as she dipped her head in respect to her leader, wanting to talk to Dawnstar alone

Dovestar took her expression in and smiled, padding over to her den and beckoning with her tail. She walked inside and sat with her tail over her paws. "I sense there's something you would like to talk to me about, Spottednose." Her eyes were focused on her medicine cat. "Is there something troubling you?"

Spottednose padded after Dawnstar into Dawnstar's den. "Actuly Dawnstar there is. I would like to take on a apprentice if that is alright with you. I feel that there is so much for me to do and a apprentice could help me with the duties. With your permission I would like to talk to Star Clan about this..."Spottednose said

Greengaze stood outside the warriors den, grooming himself with a large effort. He began to bite his front paw nails, ridding them of any dirt, or "shavings".

Oakstream woke up and streched. She padded outside of the warrior's den and spotted Greengaze sitting near by. She padded over and sat next to the tom cat. "Good morning Greengaze"she said

Greengaze stared at her for a minute, a bit shocked that another cat would talk to him. "Uh, hello...uh, Oakstream..." He replied, a bit shyly. He blinked once, before running his gaze down her body. He had fancied many cats in his days, all of them being to stupid, to dull, to annoying, or too arrogant for him. He had known Oakstream from previous encounters, and had developed a crush on her. A crush? That's a stupid kit word, He though, still absent-mindedly staring at her. Its....a special bond....of some sort... His mind struggled for a minute to find the words, but gave up. Whatever.

Oakstream met his gaze for a second then looked away. She licked her paw, smoothing down fur that was already clean. "I was well umm wondering if you wanted to go hunting with me today....? You know since the fresh kill pile is low and the queens will get hungrey soon"Oakstream said then sighed. "I' m sorry, I'm babbiling again aren't I?"she asked softly

Greengaze shook his head. "No, not at all." He told her. "And, I'd love to join you." He silently wished they wouldn't be fishing. He had a very lack of interest in that subject. Mostly because he couldn't catch a fish for his life.

Oakstream sighed in relief. "Alright great. Shall we go now? Well if your busy we can go later...."Oakstream said and smiled slightly at Greengaze

"What? Oh, no, I'm not busy. Dovestar hasn't assigned me anything. Yet." He said sheepishly, glancing over at her den. "Let's go." He mewed, standing up and bounding out of camp.

Oakstream sighed in relief, glad he wanted to go with her. Oakstream bonded after Greengaze, her heart beating widely with joy of being with Greengaze. For a while now Oakstream had been wanting to get closer to him but since Oakstream was so shy, it was hard for her

Greengaze stopped at the river, and waited for her. When she caught up, he twitched his tail. "Are we fishing, or hunting?" He asked, keeping his tone even.

Oakstream looked at the river then back at Greengaze. "It doesn't matter to me"she meaowed. "You can choose, I'm fine with which ever one"she replied

"Hunting," He spoke, almost immediately. "We'll hunt."

Oakstream nodded "Fine with me then"she said and smiled. She perked her ears as she listened hard for the sound of prey. As she listened she began to wonder "How can I get closer to Greengaze?"

Greengaze smelled a mouse, hiding near the riverbank. He rested his tail on her back, crouching down low, his ears twitching.

Oakstream swallowed as he touxhed her back, suddenly nervous. What if she made a big fool out of herself!? She looked towards the mouse and gave a small nod, nervous butterflies in her stomach

Greengaze stared at Oakstream before carefully creeping onto the other side of the mouse, crouching low in the grass.

Oakstream watched silently as GReengaze stalked the mouse

Greengaze got close enough to where he could attack, and leaped at it. He caught it in his paws, easily snapping its neck, killing it. He buried it quickly. "Your turn to catch something." His eyes sparkled as he teased her.

Oakstream smiled slightly and nodded. "Your on"she teased back and grinned. She listened for a sound of prey ad heard another mouse. her ees followed the mouse until she saw it a the base of a tree, nibbiling on a nut. Oakstream flicked her tail in the direction of the mouse so Greengaze could see the prey

Greengaze twitched his ear in response, showing her that he had seen it. He slowly and silently sat down, as not to disturb the prey. He watched Oakstream with his intense eyes.

Oakstream got down on her front legs and slowly began to stalk the mouse. Since Oakheart was a great hunter, she knew exactuly when to strike. When she was close enough, Oakstream pounced, killing he mouse quickly. She said a prayer to Star Clan, thanking them for the mouse's life and also that she didn't ake a fool of herself in front of Greengaze. Oakstream trotted back over, the mouse in her mouth

Greengaze widened his eyes. He had forgotten to pray to StarClan. Oh well. He shook his head to clear the thoughts, and glanced over at Oakstream. "I think this is enough prey," He mewed, taking in a breath. "We could return the prey, and then maybe go for a walk?" He suggested.

OAkstream nodded and put the mouse down. "Sure but first I need to get some water, or at least get the mouse hair out of my mouth"She said, the last part joking

Greengaze smiled sweetly, turning over to his buried mouse and digging it up.

Oakstream spat out some more hair in her mouth then picked up the mouse again. She flicked her tail and led the way of to the stream

Greengaze gently grasped the mouse in his jaws, trotting after her.

Oakstream stopped at the river and put the mouse down. She bent her head gracefully and lapped at the water

Greengaze stood where he was, watching her silently. He gazed at her pelt, and all its patterns. He swayed a bit further from the river, for he had never liked water.

Oakstream glanced up at Greenaze,her heart beating faser. "Is something wrong?"she asked softly, notcing he was keeping his distance from the river

"No, uh...I...don't favor water...very much." He mewed quietly, glancing nervously at the river.

Oakstream padded over and sat next to him. "Do you ind if I ask why?"she aslked

When I was crossing over to Riverclan...you know, as a kit....there was a small...accident." He mewed, a bit reluctant to share this. But he knew Oakstream wouldn't tell anyone else, so he just stared at the water.

Oakstream nodded and looked out at the river. "I never knew my mother"she blurted out. "She died while giving birth to me. I had another sibling but they were never born. I think my father hated me, blaming me for my mother's death. He hardly visited me and when he did he would just say hello then leave. When he died, I was a apprentice. I have seen other cats who parents have died and they are upset. But when my father died, I didn't feel anything. Maybe I don't have feelings or maybe....I'm not really sure"Oakstream said softly

Greengaze pressed up against her reassuringly. "I never knew my parents, and my siblings all died from sickness." He shrugged slightly. "I never knew them, so I simply don't feel remorse. Only longing, for what could have been."

Oakstream nuzzeled him softly and sighed. "I'm sorry"she said gently and licked his cheek. "I still wonder at times, do I long for my parents? Some one to talk to, some one to share stories with, some one to have kits with. I'm sorry, I'm babbaling again aren't I?"Oakstream said

Greengaze licked her nose. "You aren't babbling. Though, I don't ever really need parents." He mewed, gazing ahead. "I'm used to being disliked, and being alone." He turned towards her. "I'm even surprised that your hanging around with me."

Night was not something the lasted long enough.
Adderfang lay curled up in his nest, the tip of his tail resting on his nose and his forepaws tucked securely beneath his body. Though his eyes were closed, the tom was very much awake, and merely delaying his leave from the Warriors Den. The stress and activity that the day would surely bring for him was not looking even remotely appealing at that point in the day, and he was much more content to bury his head in his fur and sleep his troubles away. Getting up had, once again, proven to be one of the hardest parts of his waking hours. His paws felt far too heavy to move, his heart too uninterested in the dramas of Clan life, and his mind by far reluctant to leave the security of his nest. It would be safe to say that Adderfang was not a morning cat.
It was only Rainshadow's voice that kick-started him into motion, cracking open an eye at the sound of her loud meow and answering it with a yawn. The remaining tendrils of sleep that desperately clung to his mind were quickly dispersed with a shake of his head, though he still took his time to climb to his paws, flicking his brother Moondark with his tail to wake him also. Another yawn was let loose, followed by a stretch, before he slowly padded towards the she-cat. He carefully maintained eye-contact with her whilst he did so, though not out of hostility. Adderfang had been raised to be polite and respectful, and eye-contact when speaking to others was one of the many things he had drilled into him.
"I will come," he told her, his voice calm yet firm.
He flicked her shoulder with his tail as he passed, stepping out into the sunshine and camp. The sudden brightness seemed to blind him, if only for a second, and light golden eyes squinted in the morning light. As soon as his sight had adjusted, he took a moment to survey it, tail contentedly flicking back and forth behind him. After affirming nothing was out of the ordinary, he stepped out of the way of the Warriors Den, sitting himself down and beginning to groom himself as he awaited Rainshadow. His mind, for once, was strangely peaceful.
He wasn't entirely sure what had brought on the sudden balance mentally, but it was somewhat calming, particularly after some of the dramas that happened to occur in his Clan. His mind, like the Clan, was awfully calm. Kits played happily outside the Nursery under the watchful eyes of their mothers, Elders were typically complaining loudly from their den, and the Camp was filled with numerous apprentices and warriors milling around the place. Inside the Warriors Den, he could hear Moondark exchanging a stiff greeting with Rainshadow before he too made his exit. Perfect. Which was odd, because something always seemed to go wrong around the place.

Oakstream smiled slightly and leaned her head on his shoulder. "I'm hanging out with you because I like you"Oakstream said. She blushed(can cats blush?) As she realized what she had said. "I mean you know as a friend"she added

Lilyheart padded into camp, her eyes glittering in the light. She sniffed the air and looked around at the other members of the clan.

((This is a little weird but could someone have their cat get hurt so my character, Spottednose the medicince cat, can help them please?))

Greengaze nodded, almost crestfallen. He liked Oakstream more than a friend. "Er, we should head back," He suggested, sitting up.
