The Widow Makers and The Widow Makers:Strife are the first 2 books in an historical trilogy 1842- 1875
Since writing these 2 book I have written a contemporary fiction. 'No Goodbye' to be published soon. Missed the research writing this novel. Enjoy the endless breaks to check facts writing HF. Don't think I will write another contemporary. Book in the pipeline is The Widow Makers:Road's end. 1875 -1914 will love writing this but there's still 90,000 words to go.

Laurel Lamperd My book, Wind from Danyari, is now available as a downdown from Kindle. Set in Western Australia, it follows the ups and downs of the fictional Hennessy family who take up running sheep in the Carnarvon district. It begins with the wreck of the Dutch East Indiaman, the Zuytdorp, in 1712, and the Aborigines who lived in that area.
