Graham Miller (graham_h_miller) | 2 comments The Busy Pagan

This is my book. Written in 2006 by me and illustrated by professional artist Anita Luckett, it covers the eight festivals of the wheel of the year from a modern perspective. As well as an overview of each festival there are quick recipes, symbols and thoughts for each one, together with a list of correspondences. The idea is that even if you live a busy life you can still engage with the wheel. It also has a general introduction and a chapter on working magic with the wheel.

Available on Amazon and all good booksellers ;-)

S. Harrell (skelleyh) | 4 comments Gift Of The Dreamtime Awakening To The Divinity Of Trauma by S. Kelley Harrell

I wrote "Gift of the Dreamtime" in 2004, chronicling my experience of moving from intuitive child, adult in spiritual emergency, to chronicles a modern shamanic journey from pain, to healing and accepting a calling to work as a soul healer of others.

At the time of its first publication, no other modern shamanic work shared a story of healing from within the ecstatic trance state, bringing relatable and credible insight to contemporary soul healing. I'm pleased that the second edition will soon be out.

Cheers!

Dusty White (dustywhite) | 11 comments Ooh! I am excited to be in such fine company already! Graham and S. it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I look forward to reading both of your works. As for me I penned a little book on the tarot a few years back that has risen to the top of Amazon.com. I have been very lucky that people have enjoyed it. It comes with free online support, since many people who buy self-help books do not have access to the author or a teacher on the subject. I am constantly working to change that paradigm.

I am working on a new divination deck and when The Easiest Way to Learn Astrology--EVER!! comes out (hopefully in Spring) I will be sure to post it here as well. If anyone ever needs any help or motivation just lemmeno.

Timothy (timothyniedermann) | 4 comments Hello. I am looking for reviews and feedback on a book I have written: “The Words That Created God: An Atheist Reveals the True Meaning of the Ten Commandments." The book is about the secular values the 10Cs represent and how the notion of a single God, rather than being their source, is in fact entirely dependent on certain critical secular values being firmly in place in society. A main point is that religious extremists, while claiming to represent God, in fact undermine the social stability that secular morality has created. There’s a lot more to it, despite this being a fairly short book, including a look at just why the 10Cs were written into the Bible in the first place (they weren’t there to start!). It’s a surprising story.
There are free sample downloads of the first few chapters on Amazon, CreateSpace, Smashwords, and Goodreads. Thanks, Timothy Niedermann

Ancestral Gaidheal (gaidheal) Shirelands by Tracey Swain

I'm never sure if people consider poetry fiction, or non-fiction, but I thought I would mention a book a friend has had published combining her beautiful photographic images with the poetry of one of her friends. The book is Shirelands by the photographer Tracey Swain, with poetry by Hilary Jane Jones. I am keen on photography, and I love landscapes, and I have a penchant for poetry, so Shirelands hit my wishlist early.

Now, I know Tracey would fit into the group here, and I'm sure this book would be appreciated by many of our members, too, so I've added it to the bookshelves here, in the hope others might find this combination of image and poetry as magical as I do. I've also added two more books on which Tracey Swain and Hilary Jane Jones collaborated, The Wicked Wood: Part One of the Journey, and The Faerie Glen: Part Two of the Journey to the bookshelves, too.

A short preview, and reading from Shirelands can be viewed on Tracey Swain's author page here at Goodreads, for those that might be interested.

Jeanne Baptiste (JeanneBaptiste1) | 3 comments Dear all,

My name is Jeanne, and I live in Brussels, Belgium. I'm author of the Novel "The enchantment of the fairies".

The book is a historic-romantic novel with a touch of magic and mysticism. It could be called a paranormal romance with touches of fantasy, some people have called my book a fairy tale for adults.

The scenario of the story is IX century Europe, a period in history when Christianity is replacing the ancient religions of Europe.

It is the story of Jana and Philipp, Jana is a young girl in a quest to discover magic and what magic is about, it is is a love story, but certainly, it is not just another romantic story for teenagers, it focus also in the spiritual growth to which everybody of us aims or should aim. The book pretends to propose new answers to old questions, what happens after we die, is it our destiny in our hands, what are the consequences of our actions.

Here below you will find the links to share:
Thank you so much
Yours Jeanne

William Ash | 6 comments Futon Daiko A Japanese Festival by William Ash

I am new to Goodreads. I have just published a photo essay (iBook) on a festival and shrine Shinto. One of the great things about Shinto is there really is no canon, but it can be confusing for those looking in from the outside. Shinto is a rather organic religion based in practice and experience. While there is not a lot to read in this iBook, there is a lot to see.

Eric Rasbold | 9 comments Hello, everyone.

My wife and I have been practitioners of the pagan religions for what feels like forever! We finally settled on a new path of our own creation which brings together many elements of natural worship and uses the energy of the agricultural year towards the progress of spiritual evolution. We have a book written about it, newly published on Amazon and also have several others that are more specific to the effective use of Energy Magic.

All of the books can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/Katrina-Rasbold...

I'll be checking everyone's work if there is a link to do so. We need more writers in this area - enhance the magic!

Boniface Wolfsong Greetings, I am a new author and have recently published my first book. The Wiccan Way A Reinterpretation of the Tao Te Ching by Boniface Wolfsong

The Tao Te Ching is a book about living and being in harmony with Nature. I have written this translation from a Pagan perspective and I use the word "Wiccan" in the title because of its original meaning of "bending" or "adapting," which fits nicely with the method advocated in the book. I also did all the illustrations in the book and the photograph on the cover. It's available on Amazon and other booksellers.

Elizabeth Armstrong, | 6 comments Align With The Wild is my non-fiction. Our world is in a pickle environmentally, financially, and with businesses. Hence, my book begins with how the Industrial Revolution impacts lifestyles. I love to dive into the wealth of benefits provided by natural systems; such as improved health. Offering a dialog on self-discovery and heart-centered conscious awareness guides the bibliophile on their path. The book entices the reader to get involved in the natural communities. I close with information on a collaborative business model that incorporates natural and human capital into the physical capitalistic business model. Including scientific supported material with a poetic flare adds spice to the up the topic with information to lead people towards survival in the 21st century.

Cynthia Joyce | 78 comments A Magickal Compedium from Ethics to Sex by Axis and Sapnabella. (Sapnabella is me.)

http://www.amazon.com/Compendium-Magi...

"A literate and in-depth collection of magickal technique and theory, primarily from a Pagan perspective, that adds new impetus to the assertion that modern Neo-Paganism consists of complete spiritual systems. It shows how such paths may include complex theology and high ethical conduct. There are also explicit and complete instructions for spiritual development, including channeling, psychic self-defense, working with spirits, and sex magick. A welcome addition to all who are beginning one of these paths and an excellent supplement to those who already follow the Old Religion." —Donald Michael Kraig

Ancestral Gaidheal (gaidheal) Rún, magic grimoire

The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery & Witchcraft has finally published the grimoire Rún.

Rún, book of magic will be on a special offer to begin with as a compensation for all the people that have been waiting for its publication with a great expectation.

The tradition to copy manuscripts of old material lived among the general public in Iceland into the 20th century. The book of magic published here was copied by hand on a small farm in Iceland, Strandir district, in 1928 and gives an excellent example of the magic, which survived ever since such manuscripts were presented in 17th century courts.
A book full of magic, secret signs and alphabets.

The book is a photocopy of the manuscript with a translation in English. ISBN: 978-9979-9584-7-5

Fang and Fur, Blood and Bone: A Primal Guide to Animal Magic

DIY Totemism: Your Personal Guide to Animal Totemism

Skin Spirits: The Spiritual and Magical Uses of Animal Parts

New Paths to Animal Totems: Three Alternative Approaches to Creating Your Own Totemism

Plant and Fungus Totems: Connect With Spirits of Field, Forest and Garden

Those are the ones currently in print; I have a few OOP/etc. in my profile as well. And I'm negotiating a contract for my next book, tentatively entitled "The Totemic Ecosystem", which will further detail the practices of bioregional totemism (working with the animal, plant, fungus and other totems of your local area to connect with the land.) Aaaaand I have a super-secret manuscript I've been working on as of late, but that one's under wraps til later.

I also blog, both at my own blog http://www.thegreenwolf.com/blog and at Patheos at www.patheos.com/blogs/pathsthroughthe... - so if you want a free taste of my (unedited) writing, there you go :)

Lupa Lupa (lupagreenwolf) | 17 comments I'm currently completing the last edits on my next book. "Nature Spirituality From the Ground Up: Connect With Totems In Your Ecosystem". It'll be out from Llewellyn next January, and it helps the reader work with totems (in a non-indigenous sense) to have a more developed and deep connection with the land we live on. At a time when humanity, particularly in more developed countries, is increasingly detached from the rest of nature, this is a great way to invite us back into our place in the world, and to have more responsibility for the land that supports us.

Mare Cromwell | 2 comments Am humbled to be able to share about my 3rd book "The Great Mother Bible" here.

The Great Mother Bible or, I'd rather be gardening.... by Mare Cromwell
Referred to as "The Voice of Earth Mother" by a gifted Shoshone elder, Mare Cromwell was given specific instructions from Mother in November, 2013, to write "The Great Mother Bible". Out of that spiritual call has come teachings ranging from the role of aliens on Earth, the Christ Consciousness, sacred dimensions and balance. This revolutionary and humorous spiritual book offers essential wisdom and guidance to birth the New World.

"An enjoyable female version of Neale Donald Walsch's 'Conversations with God'. Positive powerful insights about love, spirituality, the universe, and Mother Earth." ~ Kirkus Reviews

"I love the wisdom and the message of love within this book!" ~ New Age Books Review

"A significant contribution to the growing library of Metaphysical Studies literature and an inherently fascinating, absorbing read from beginning to end. Very highly recommended." ~ MidWest Book Reviews

"Definitely the kind of Bible I wouldn't mind keeping by my nightstand ... Love scrawls across every page." ~ Pathways Magazine

From the Back Cover
Mare Cromwell has been given a gift. The gift of wisdom, words, and the ability to hear the Great Mother. For spiritual seekers everywhere, I predict The Great Mother Bible will become a fixture in your library.
~ Nancy Mills, Founder - The Spirited Woman

These are powerful and wise messages from Earth Mother, shared by her beloved daughter Mare Cromwell, to encourage humanity to awaken their hearts and find peace in these struggling times. The world will find these sacred writings most brilliant.
~ Bavado (Rainbow Thunder Heart), Eastern Shoshone Nation, President - Earth Wisdom Foundation

This book will inspire some readers but will infuriate others. Mare Cromwell's profound relationship with the Great Mother offers a dialogue that is witty, wise and comical. Mare writes about "unseen forces" but her luminous accounts bring a lucidity and reality to their insights that are uplifting, intriguing, and wondrous.

Lupa Lupa (lupagreenwolf) | 17 comments My newest title from Llewellyn is out: Nature Spirituality from the Ground Up: Connect with Totems in Your Ecosystem

Nature Spirituality from the Ground Up invites you to go beyond simply exploring the symbols of nature and encourages you to bury your hands in the earth and work with the real thing. This is a book on green spirituality that makes a difference, empowering you to connect with totems as a part of your spiritual life.

Uniquely approaching totems as beings we can give to, rather than take from, Lupa shows how orienting yourself this way deepens your spiritual connection to the earth and helps you rejoin the community of nature. And while most books on totems focus on animals, Nature Spirituality from the Ground Up helps you work with interconnected ecosystems of totems: plants, fungi, minerals, waterways, landforms, and more.

Priscilla Vogelbacher (prissbns) | 4 comments If your idea of "God" and "the Devil" conforms with the Abrahamic perspective, then you are a victim of religious propaganda. Learn about the gods of Mesopotamian mythology et al., their relevance to the Abrahamic deities and how that effects the Genesis story. Although my new book focuses on Lucifer, it encompasses much more. I have taken an objective perspective on the subject, which has been entirely lacking in this field of research.

Citing from religious texts and well-established facts, I expose:

Lucifer is our creator, savior and god
The origins of religious mythology
The true mythological origins and identities of Jesus, Lucifer, Satan, God and Goddess
The complete and accurate story of Genesis chapters 2 – 11
Satan is the third member of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit
The Abrahamic god is evil
Hell does not exist
The gods are not cosmic beings
Zecharia Sitchin's Nibiru does not exist
The theological natures of the soul, spirit, and enlightenment

The theological implications of Judaism, Christianity and Islam affects the vast majority of individuals in the Western world, whether directly or indirectly. My book seeks to abolish the confusion, idolums and ipsedixitisms which seems to permeate personal believes regarding these deities. Don't just take my word for it. Know the truth for yourself.

Hi, I'm the author of MPower the Shaman
And with this book that came out November 2016, I was guest Author of the Month of December by Graham Hancock at his website:
"Materialist science, the new religion of the modern age, claims that an alive and conscious human is as cosmically significant as a takeaway coffee cup. So we can do what we want with ourselves and each other, within reason.
Gonzalo Bénard’s teachings are an antidote to the consumerism that the Western World offers. And that his knowledge on consciousness derives from direct, sensory experience is something that mainstream science cannot comprehend, nor compete with."
You can still join the forum or ask anything related with the book.

Carole Carlton | 8 comments I just wanted to share the news that the revised, expanded and updated version of the third in the 'Mrs Darley' series of Pagan books is finally available, both as a paperback and on Kindle. Below is a taster into what you can find in the book.

'‘I stood on the edge of the moor, buffeted by the wind, burned by the sun, drenched by the rain and rooted to the earth. It was as though I wanted to drink in every element, every fibre of the place and bury it deep within, so that when I return, my soul will remember and lead me back where I belong...'

To have an understanding of the four classical elements of air, fire, water and earth is to have an appreciation of what is essential in order to survive on our beautiful planet. To have an understanding of the mysterious fifth element of Spirit is to have an appreciation of the sanctity of life.

Mrs Darley's Pagan Elements is a journey of discovery into the elements, their role in the natural world, their importance in magick and the myths and legends that have become associated with them. Woven throughout, are tales of the wise and enigmatic Mrs Darley, the authors next-door neighbour when she lived amongst the wild landscape of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall back in the early 1990's. Rona Walter DeToriani (fangtasy) | 4 comments After long years of writing and being published professionally as well as trying the depth of self publishing I decided to tell people how this went for me and what I learned.

I am also asked quite frequently HOW I write so quickly without compromising quality and style - so I am also sharing my tools for the efficient and focussed writer:

Priscilla Vogelbacher (prissbns) | 4 comments Deities & Dragons
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

The gods are not human, nor do they look like us. In this third volume, Vogelbacher gives us more reason than ever to believe the gods were beings of flesh and blood that once walked the Earth. Piecing together many physical descriptions of the gods throughout the worlds’ mythologies, she reveals their true form as well as their true nature. They are not cosmic beings or the result of our imaginations, but are a species which quite possibly evolved alongside the dinosaur genus draco. This demonic dragon race waged terrible war in prehistoric times, razing mountains and annihilating their own civilization in the process, causing Atlantis to collapse and sink into the ocean, obliterated forevermore.

J.R. Damon (technoshaman001) | 2 comments I recently published my debut academia, which consists of a solar encyclopedia.

it has 650 pages and is great for someone who wants the tactile experience of owning a big book to reference for your craft and some interesting facts. I go into detail about indigenous burial mounds and solar magick, odyssean witchcraft, shamanism and more :D

please consider adding this to your library!
